Tayeth is still searching, although given how poor her sense of direction is, even if whatever greater being that chooses whether things go right or wrong decides to be kind today, she'll probably still end up getting lost.

Kate sighs at her companion.
"Three buildings down, take a right, then go four more buildings down and there's a pub that's selling decent food. Don't know abouth the price though.

[Lyeos]

"Right. Four buildings down, take a left, the building at the end."

This was going to turn out horribly unless Kate took the lead - how  Tayeth even manages to be intelligent enough to understand magic is a mystery to everyone. Good thing they're still holding hands, so Kate can steer Tayeth in the right direction.

Kate releases Tayeth's hand before grabbing her by the ear and leading her the right direction comically.
"How do you do magic if you can't even follow simple directions?"

[Lyeos]

Taught doesn't seem to mind this. If anything, she looks slightly relieved.

"Because you don't have to follow a specific set of instructions to do magic, it's just easier and safer to do so! That's why all my fireballs explode and my hair moves without trying to strangle people!"

Is all Kate says as she leads them into the pub.

"Is that the name of this pub?"

Tayeth seems to enjoy having her ear pulled, perhaps a bit too much.

"No. I didn't see it."
Kate says sitting at a table.

[Lyeos]

"So, do you think those two have done anything since we left?"

Tayeth attempts to pull her ear free so she can sit across from Kate. It's honestly a half-hearted effort, and would easily be stopped by a firm tug.

Kate releases her ear and sit down.
"Probably not."

((I can, I dunno how Zal wants this to go, so I haven't yet.))

WK's stare into Vlad's being continues to be a thing.
"Just so you know, I am not someone you met in the past seeking righteous revenge. I was just so irked when I saw you a few years ago. I decided I was gonna kill you. I left my farm and family to train. I trained for a year or two in hopes of defeating you. And now I have the chance. Oh this is a great day."
WK charges at Vlad with a sword at each side ready to slash into Vlad's torso.

Vlad laughs.

"...You travelled to this tournament, hoping I'd be here and get matched against you?"

He dodges the left sword, blocks the right, and tries to quickly stab the WK before he recovers.

((? Vs ?)) WK is easily dodged and blocked by Vlad, but Vlad doesn't manage to get a stab in before WK has... Shifted... Out of range.

Somewhere in the crowd, a young man laughs as his efforts to save WK have succeeded.

((Both of your dodge rolls were high, but the others were low. So, I gave him "cheating" as the excuse for his dodge.))

"If there's anything you want, I can't pay for it. Vlad could, though."

Push the momentum. Keep close so he can't stab me with his swords.

Kate drops a bag of coins on the table.
"I think I have enough from my last bounty"
