With a sudden surge out the water, the stoneborn seized Tayeth by the waist and plunged back into the lake, firmly holding her to prevent escape.

((Wait, are you... Are you trying to drown her?!))

D'sparil burst above the water again with Tayeth, letting her go if she tried to escape. With one hand he held her sodden book, the ink running on the soaked paper.
"Reading is dull, dull. Be more lively, lively."
