I'm going to be blunt: there is going to be chaos and confusion.

Welcome, to Mini Mafia Madness!

A pale man with a tall hat as black as tar greets you at the entrance. He leans on a narrow black cane with a glowing multicolored orb at the top, and has make-up, or maybe blood, around his eyes.

Where you'll be participating in at least a guaranteed THREE different mafia games at once! The more who join in, the more opportunities for chaos! Step into the ring, let magic and darkness drive you to murder, and triumph as you come out on top!

There is a risk, though. Entry into the ring of madness requires a separation of your psyche, and failure to survive may result in a fate far worse than dieing just once. If you should take it upon yourself to join those already within, guard your soul carefully.

The ring master spins his cane idly, as he points towards the empty circle in the middle of the tent. He grins, too wides, and gestures. Will you take him up on his offer?

Spoiler: Big Picture Rules (click to show/hide)

1) All mini games will be taking place at once. This means that when you die in one game, refrain from commenting on that one.
1a) There are enough games that separate threads for them would be overwhelming.
1b) If your game is affected by an action, or an action took place in your game, and you are still active in that game, it is fair game for discussion.
2) There are day and night phases; All games will start on day 1, and day/night phases will take place at the same time. Day will last 72 hours, ending during the evenings; between 7 and 9 PM mountain time. Nights will last 48 hours.
3) There are no extends or shortens. There are extends, either if a player has good IRL reasons or another player approves the use of an extend. If I, as mod, require an extend, however, I will try to not let it interfere with the flow of the game, and update as soon after my deadline as possible.
4) When voting for lynch during the day, put your vote in Red Text. Put the Identifier Number of the game with the vote, and the target's name must be clear. You are not limited to one vote per day.
4a) For similar reasons it is recommended you identify which game you are talking about when discussing the game. This will not be enforced, however.
4b) As well, with night actions, specifying which game your target is in is necessary.
5) No editing, unless I the Mod ask you to at night. See last spoiler for details.

Spoiler: Promises which I assure you I will NOT break (click to show/hide)

1) Each minigame will contain between 4-6 players at the games' starts.
2) Each minigame will have one or more non-town players with evil intentions.
3) Death in one game does not mean death in another. You can continue playing until all your aspects are dead or victorious.
4) No player will be in the same minigame occupying more than one slot at once.

Everything has an enchanted circus theme.
The minigames are weighted fairly.
Some roles can affect minigames other than their own.
There is no serial killer.
Games will have 3 or more town.

I have already planned out for between 6 and 20 players, all cases.

Whether your Mirthful aspect manifests as a sadistic streak, your Sorrowful aspect leads you to pent up emotions and a lethal disposition, or your Hidden aspect is a dark and terrible thing, the dark side of your psyche is now on the lose.

Clowns. A clown is evil, and will usually have a say in their nightly kill.
Vanilla Scum.

Mimes are clowns who don't talk. Pretty obvious.

A circus cannot run without someone to put it together and take it apart. But in a cursed circus, the odds this person survives are pretty low. The aspect of your psyche that became a stage hand was pretty mundane, and so is the person that aspect becomes.

The Stage Hand has not special powers. If the clowns are killed, they'll probably survive.
Vanilla town.

Either your Mirthful aspect is a gleeful side that leads you to enjoy the wind in your hair, or your Sorrowful aspect leads you to believe in protecting others, or maybe your Hidden aspect is sidekick training, this aspect of your psyche likes to sail through the air.

During the acrobatic stunts you pull, you can pull stage hands off the ground to fling them to safety at night. Never know what those clowns are up to.
Doctor.

Maybe because of your Hidden aspect you were the Ape Man. Or your Mirthful aspect desired you to be the Bearded Woman. Maybe your Sorrowful aspect lead you to become the elephant man. You're a freak. You stand out, but the freaks always know the circus staff. Every one of them.

During the night you can examine someone's role and alignment.

Forum members who are not part of the game are not part of the game. If you are dead in all minigames, or did not sign up, you are prohibited from posting during the day. If you signed up for replacement but have not been replaced in yet, ditto.

However, prohibition from posting during the day does not mean you cannot post at night. At night, the circus is open. The neon lights are on, and the performers perform. At night, flavor texts only; nothing actually game relevant is to be posted. If a player has a role as a performer, than they may post flavor as either the same role, or any performer they want; someone with a clown role may roleplay as a trapeze artist, lion tamer, whatever. Flavor texts at night have no relevance to the actual game. However, if you are posting at night, make sure your post is in some form of colored text. The particular color doesn't matter, could be just one color or several. Just not red. And if I feel that the post ventures too far, I may ask you to change it.

Role PMs will include links to quicktopics. If you want to discuss with the GM, use these quicktopics. If you want to discuss with other players, ask the GM for a quicktopic for that player or group (if you don't have one already); PMs between players without the GM seeing them are strictly prohibited.

Mimes are a special scum role, and are present in at least game #4. Yes, they can vote.
If all your games are over, then you are considered External Participation.
If you are alive in at least one game, you can post.

A) I'm not sure how different it is. It will be a lot shorter, and it will be chaos as people misinterpret each other; I think this could only happen here, where the meta is so question focused.
B) Not that I can think of. Just some roles.
C) Yeah, I can answer those questions. Pretty much anything I don't want to give away should be hinted at in the "Promises I may or may not keep" spoiler, I think.
