I didn't see much happening from her. I felt her an acceptable target, one that wouldn't bring us into suspicion; only you asked me not to kill her. I didn't know she was a girl (though that's unrelated to how she plays), and I didn't think she'd be a good decoy, she didn't seem scummy before I replaced in, I didn't think she was obvitown.

She fell to the sidelines in my eyes, I guess.

Game's over so edit's OK: And she only posted 3 times day 1, once day 2, and 5 times day 3. More posts generally mean more extreme readings because there's more to read.

I still feel extremely horrible about this.

Well darn.

I was bad - bad scum player :c
Not really. I got no scummy vibes from you at all, you were alive at the end, and you won the game. You won! Be happy!  :D

Yeah, well played by scum. At no point did I ever seriously suspect anyone on the scumteam. I was kind of lazy and still needed to do a full reread of the thread, but no word on whether I would have switched off of Andrew. And even if we had gotten flabort, there was still a good chance of not figuring out it was Tiruin. I'm surprised the scumteam considered me a threat, seeing how I was so fixated on Andrew!

Well...I'm happy that I got to play with such nice players despite all our RL intervention crises and all.
Andrew, you played well dude! Just have to smoothen those edges a bit and refine your persuasion skills (I mean, there are other ways than calling BS out ;D). *high-five*
And really, I was serious about my stance on you. Town/Scum Tir would decide the same thing given how...*ahem* the work was being done in said case.

Could someone please explain to me how lynching a claimed cop at mylo could possibly be the correct move?

I will actually save anyone from spending time attempting it and tell you that it is definitely not the correct move, ever.

There were two people claiming cop. We lynched the one we thought was lying because, y'know. He acted like a scum.

No lynch would give the town a large advantage and carries no risk in a semi-open game.

I argued against it well enough to convince everyone it was a bad idea.
Basically by promising to kill the other cop. :P
If nobody NOTICED that besides the Mod and Dead, I'm a pretty lucky scum.

That was silly, but if you think about it from a scum perspective you can see the issue.  What are their options?

1. Kill the real cop: this would confirm their falseclaim and hand the town a free mafia lynch
2. Kill someone else: this would narrow the town's lynch pool and also give the real cop an inspection and the fake cop another "inspection".  This would potentially allow the cop to find the other mafia member/another townie and make the fake cop's claim more fake seeming/force them into a fight with a second person
3. Kill no-one: it's like 2, only the town can then no lynch again for even more information

This is all assuming there's no jailkeeper, with the possibility that there is one the case grows even stronger.

In particular it might be good if the town designated the target of both cops.  That way if the mafia member tells the truth then that player's alignment is actually confirmed (since both cops agree on it).

Hah Tiruin and Flabort.
Maybe I should've been a bit more pushy.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

A worthy decoy.
I was a little confused by how readily you sided with me when Andrew declared you town, but you seemed confident in your stance; which is why I was confused again when you switched again.
And half the key to my logic. My case hinged off of having no confirmed town on my side of the story.

I admittedly OMGUS'd me when Andrew declared me town.
After that, I realized what was happening and tried to switch it.

Here are my notes for anyone who wants to see them.
I forgot to say this earlier: that is an amazing technique. I hope you don't mind if I borrow it.
