Question. Can I accept a challenge and still join the league, without only entering part of my gladiators in them? It did say to start at the end of the week. Does that mean that battles happen next week or this week?

In any case, I'll want to join the North Star League and get Isaac on a better diet plan.

Heal Wernher, if I still can, and accept challenge.

Get Isaac on a better diet plan

Try though you might you can't improve Isaac's diet. Coming from the coast he eats little else but fish and vegetables. He is already in impeccable shape for an Apprentice and would likely only be harmed by changing his diet at this point. Besides which his main attack relies on something other than pure physical strength. Perhaps you could buy him some books to study instead?

Hm... For now I'm going to say yes, but only for the first week. Plus Isaac's going to be unhappy with this and will likely start the league either injured or in critical condition [which the league does NOT heal at half price since he recieved the wounds outside of league].

The league starts at the end of this week, just like every other battle.

Keep in mind if you want to train your dudes you HAVE to tell me how much you want to spend on it or I'll just say something like the above. I won't force you to waste money.

Heal Wernher

"I hate how the healing feels..." Wernher complained as you walked with him back towards the school.

"Win a few matches. Then you won't have to get healed like that."

"... Fair enough."

Ask around town to see if anyone knows who John is.

"He's a gladiator right? Some silver school or another." The man in front of you said "Hey... Aren't you Lady Wolfe? I loved your match against those three hill giants. Sure Probisus got his ass handed to him but-" you stopped listening.

"Thank you for your help. Enjoy the autograph." You said to the man after you business had concluded.

It would appear no one really knew who John was. The only answer you had gotten thus far had been of that variety. Maybe you could find out after he gained more fame. There was always the possibility someone would recognize him.

If the challenge of Isaac if not accepted, look  around town for a school willing to accept a goblin-goblin fight.

Waiting on Ozarck.

You haven't heard back from Savarrio but you figure it can't hurt to look around. Oddly enough there seems to be no limit to the amount Goblin's looking to pick a fight with you. You recieve challenges from: The Giant Demons, he Evasive Bear, The Bone Jackals, The Frozen Sun Imperials, and The Steel Legion. All of them looking to pit their goblin against another goblin... Odd...

Sorry, I have been working this week and unable to internet.
Join the League.

I love my gladiators, and the color text for the other schools is certainly entertaining as well. This has been a good game so far. One might even say it has been Pretty Good.

Actually, that was me wanting to Heal him.

And Nerjin, I had basically been asking if I could have Jig and Isaac fight in both matches (this week?).

Ah, well then I guess it's a good thing I hadn't updated this yet.

Anyways, I'll flavor up some stuff in a few hours when I get a few more things together.

Anyways, you CAN have both Isaac and Jig fight Stinky if you want, though the match challenge was just for Isaac. Never-the-less if you want to send that as a counter offer you may. Either way, yes, they can both participate in the Stinky fight and the league.

... Then again perhaps Isaac was just being polite. You had left momentarily worried about his health and returned with a different plate of food only to find Isaac had literally stuffed every bit of food on the plate into his mouth.

"... So... Perfect diet then?"

"... Yes?"

"Should I bring more?"

"... Yes please."

@Rolepgeek are you wanting to place both of them into the fight? I'll await your answer before updating the game.

Just to hasten things slightly.....

I'm going to refuse to fight both at once. So I'll only accept just Isaac.

Else, I'll go with the Bone Jackals

Isaac vs. Goblin would be stupid for me. Yeah no.

Just the League match, then. Jig stay in front of Isaac, Isaac attack constantly, Jig attack if it's one enemy, use your judgement for when to attack and when to defend against two enemies, defend against 3 enemies(until some are beaten, of course).

Week 3 Preparation

Quote from: The Imperial Horseman
The North Star league begins this week. Unfortunately it would appear that there are several higher ranked Gladiator schools such as The People’s Shadows and Atlas’ Deadly Champions who seem to be favorite for winning. Never-the-less, this league promises to be interesting regardless.

In other news, Emperor Gaston has declared today National Mutton Chop day. In order to celebrate everyone must shave their mutton chops, because nobody likes them.

Quote from: The North Star League Gambling Tables
The Brest-Matar Training Arena vs Atlas’ Deadly Champions
20:1 / 1.1:1 [Amount < 100]

Pretty's Finishing School vs The Copper Colossal
2:1 / 5:1 [Amount < 150]

The School of Silverbane vs The People’s Shadows
8:1 / 1.4:1 [Amount < 100]

The Small Axes vs The Green Wardens
3:1 / 2:1 [Amount < 100]
Quote from: The Gambling Tables
The Brotherband vs The Dread Family
2:1 / 2:1 [Amount < 50]

The Red Harvest vs The Bone Jackals
2:1 / 2:1 [Amount < 50]

So I rolled how high the fame of those involved in the league were… And well you guys didn’t get too lucky… But still, you’ll get quite a bit of fame from just participating so that’ll be nice.

Good luck! Don’t forget to gamble and send in your orders.

Also don’t forget the Defend / Attack option in your battle plan.
