I put 20 on Brest and 20 on Roc, for a total win of 100g. :(

And if I'm in - Buy Stinky the Goblin.

I really hate to do this (and I mean really), but ... -sigh- there's just no getting around it.
I should have lost 50 on the first Clan of the Roc match, making my income 90, not 140. I wouldn't tell the bookie, but what with the religious aspect of the Games, and that 10 I put into a shrine in honor of the gods ...

Correct gambling errors. Heal Frankly and congratulate both Gladiators. Hire (do I now have THREE Tenderfoots offering their services? Interesting) Tenderfoot Berry.

Oh, uh... Thanks. I'll go ahead and edit that here in a second.

Also, you do have three tenderfeet offering their service to you. It was pretty... Interesting.

for thos wondering why he was offered three last week and this week you were only offered one new guy: Because I roll a 1d4 to see how many people are offering help. He got lucky.

I'm at college right now BUT I'll update this properly when I get home.

I edited my last post to end week, but I should have just posted a new post to end the week. So, in the spirit of ending weeks via new posts when I forget to end the week in my previous post instead of editing my post and causing trouble:

End week.

He will level into Hobgoblin.

Isaac the Apprentice should make an excellent addition to the team.

EDIT: So does Initiative not go up w/ level ups like HP and damage, then?

Revive Wernher, heal to full, end week. [[-10 gp]

Well.... This gladiator business is a bit more costly than you thought it would be. Sure, it is entirely possible that you're simply experiencing a run of bad luck but... Bad luck at the start can be very harmful... Especially if it bankrupts you...

Revive Leon. Scold him. [-50]

"I'm going to kill you you short little bastard!" Leon shouted as he charged [limped] Vvoric with the intent to kill.

Huh... Well you had planned on coming here to scold Leon. But it would appear that Vvoric had beaten you to it. You don't speak Dwarven but apparently Leon does because he has reacted rather... passionately to the insult... and now they're wrestling on the floor.

Resisting the urge to shout 'kiss her you fool!' you simply cough to break up the fight.

It would appear they prefer your money to killing one another. A good thing too... Because they did cost you quite a bit.

Quote from: Ozarck
Heal Frankly. Praise Gladiators

Frankly and Ugly Jerry seem somewhat ill at ease with Berry at first. But all three stand at attention as you address them.

"I'm very proud of the two of you," you say speaking to Frankly and Ugly Jerry "So I decided to hire a nice little gift. Namely Berry. He's agreed to assist us with various potions and the like."

"Yeah, and I'm gonna be honest, not really feeling these two. Don't you have a manticore or something?"

"I... No?" Only momentarily confused you continue "So he's agreed to give us a free little sample potion. For you Frankly, to heal your wounds."

"Hm... Okay." Taking the potion offered to him by Berry you could see the various wounds sustained simply melt away... Literally. The holes and punctures somehow melted off of his body leaving perfectly intact, if tender, flesh behind. "Oh Gods! That was awful! Felt like I was being killed..."

"Insult my brews again, and you just might." Berry replied before storming off.

'What an excellent team... I just hope they can keep their cool in the arena.'

Question? If the thug life does not chose Jerry this round, and likewise his mercenary nature does not get the best of him (I.E. I level him as peasant for now), will I be able to evolve upgrade him to one of those two later on? If not, level into mercenary. But if so, then level into peasant, for now.

Lars looked down at the hyper little goblin with a grin, as he seemed to twitch slightly even at the thought of staying still. He also smelled rather better than he imagined, especially for a goblin. It certainly made a change from the smell of manure. However, he did still seem rather scrawny. That would have to be resolved. A small amount of enchanted animal feed should do the trick. Sure, it wasn't meant to be used on humans, but he was a goblin, and after all, that was why it was so cheap.

Train Stinky, 49gp.

(( Whoop, ninja goblin :) ))

You CAN change his status later. Though, for example, if you level him to a Level 5 Peasant he won't become a Level 6 Thug. He'll become a Level 1 Thug and then gain all the experience he would have gained over again [35 per level] so he might [would in this case] level up. That make sense? ANYWAYS keep the Peasant levling?

So, does that mean that all the stat bonuses they would get will be lost, basically?

In a strict sense yes. But you get the experience 'refunded'. I'm still working on this though so it is subject to change.

Does initiative not go up on leveling?

Don't feel like looking for the quote, but it's from GUNINANRUNIN. Anyways, it does. I've just been forgetting to do it... Whoops! I'll be fixing it now.

Eh, I guess it still achieves what I wanted; cheaper gold cost of experience.

I asked that second part first, by the way...
