((I'm going to say repost, as to preserve the flow of conversation. But feel free to ignore me. :P))
I'd have to agree with reposting.
Indeed.

Also,
Get our spaceship(s) to spacespeeds (i.e. relativistic speed) and ram it/them into a spaceplanet with spaceitch to appease the Space God.
-1.
Our holy spacemission is to rid the spaceiverse of spaceitch, and we can not do that without a spaceship or a spaceman/blorb. We will land on a planet with spaceitch, and begin the spaceinquisition.
+1 to your correction. Clearly, I had not thought through surviving the eradication effort.

There's a couple of spaceplanets nearby:
A big green one.
A tiny blue one.
A massive brownie one.
A speckish greyish one.

You have enough spacefuel to fly to only one of them.

You find the spacepedia. It is in spaceblorbish of course. The spaceman spaceHUD doesn't translate text and you only read spacecommon.

Preform the Spaceinquisition on the big green spaceplanet. No spaceitch will escape on our spacewatch!

Yes, there are spacepictures.
View the spacepictures of the spaceplanets.
You find the spacepictures in the spacepedia that correspond to the spaceplanets that are pictured on the spaceviewer and mark them for future reference.

Check for spacepictures of planets which have, in the spacepast, had spaceitch, and see if you can cross-reference the spacesymbols representing spaceitch.

(How realistic is the orbital mechanics here?)

You still can't read spaceblorbish. Even if you stare at it really hard.

What do you mean?

Fly to the massive brownie one, hoping to find spacesupplies and easy spacemoney

(Is there aerobraking, non-trivial docking, First Law compliance (i.e. When not orbiting a body, even the tiniest burn can result in traveling forever without braking burns), or any other (maybe) not-so-fun, calculation-heavy, time-expensive features?)

why would you ever think that a game like this would follow rules like that.

(I cannot say I know, but it might have something to do with a few too many Venus balloon colony calculations. And now, back to our scheduled programming :) )

Did we ever verify if we were a Spaceman? Could we be a Spacewoman?!
