Tom thinks about how to answer before realizing something.
"Fairly certain I said yes before."

I am K-3T, small one. What did they designate you?

Niisa looks confused for a second, before understanding dawns on her face. She bows, which seems strange given the dress she wears looks more suited to curtsying. "My name is Kukemou Niisa; thank you for letting me introduce myself."

It is at this point that her accent becomes more obvious. She was almost certainly raised in Japan, though how she got to Madness City is anyone's guess.

Where is this, Kukemou-Niisa? Your voice has different... intonations.. then the others I have heard. Why is that?

The girl blushes. She wasn't used to people pointing out her accent, and she did try to make sure she spoke correctly. Half a century of lessons should have helped smooth the words out, but she didn't get the opportunity to practice much, most of the time.

The places is obviously unfamiliar to K-3T

Is this Japan then, Kukemou-Niisa?

Niisa smiles at the ?girl? in front of her, the first one since she'd come to the apartment. She shook her head as she answered, standing up as she did so.

"Iie, no, this is Amerika."

"Hai, yah, K-Keith-san."
Cheru has a bit of a Slavic accent and a deeper voice. "This is Cheru, Kukemou-sama. That is, if you prefer I call you sama."

Cheru has a bit of a Slavic accent and a deeper voice. "This is Cheru, Kukemou-sama. That is, if you prefer I call you sama."

"E-Eh?"
Niisa flushes red again, embarassed by her rudeness and his un-wavering politeness. "I-iie, th-there is no n-need to c-call me by s-such an honorific. I-I don't d-deserve such a t-term." She turns her head down, and seems to shrink into herself a little, wringing her hands in her dress. "D-deepest ap-pologies for m-mistaking your iden-dentity, Cheru-san.
