Ever since I got stung inside my throat as a toddler, and nearly died, I have had a severe vespaphobia. Hint: never give candy to children, it might kill them
Although I have managed to learn to restrain myself over the years, I am still very uncomfortable as soon as a wasp gets within a yard of me.
Up till I was about 25, I would jump up and run. I even ended up at the police station once, for bullrunning a random person who was in my flight path down to the ground.
Other than than, I am a classical anarchist, libertairian socialist, and as such strongly suspicious of any form of authority, and rampant neo-liberalism.
Unfortunatly, in our civilised western societies, this is starting to be seen as a psychological illness as well, with questioning of authority labelled 'non-conformative behaviour', as a symptom of psycho-social disorder, slowly sneaking it's way into diagnostic tools.
there's a fine, thin line between political prisons and mental institutions. I needs be guarded more strongly.
"I think it only makes sense, to seek out and identify structures of authority, hierarchy and domination in all aspects of life, and to challenge them; unless a justification for them can be given, they are illegitimate, and should be dismantled, to increase the scope of human freedom" - Noam Chomsky
