Ouch, humans outnumbered by super predators that reproduce through killing us. And we're in an area that is perfect for an agile monster like them to hunt through.

Pretty good parasites, though.

I finally got myself to finish the fluff on my character. He's a pirate, by the way. So some soldiers would be nice.

You can, but only up to eight, and if you don't recruit them IC, then their skills are... Suspect, as is their courage.

Also, mechanically, your weapons and such work out to be exactly the same, except the White Man's flintlock rifle is vastly superior to the plasmacaster because you can make it into a spear-gun. :P

Aliens are more like the ultimate prey. The predators created them at an attempt to create a strong and fearless prey.
