I only make suggestions. As I said, the raticate is a god of normal types, but the fact you didn't bother to train Dio into one halts him from stopping a geodude or anything of the like.

Hey now! I trained him a LOT! I dropped, what, 11 levels on the bugger since getting to Cerulean? Considering that our *particular* rattatta is significantly more frail than the already frail norm, it was risky and dangerous to do in an efficient way. He was down to one health from a *single* hit of a pidgey 2 levels low than him!

So long as you guys don't get him killed in this battle, he's definitely going to go Raticate before the next town. But that requires that he avoids dying in this battle!

Raticate/rattata are frail but their attack goes through the roof. They should drop the enemy with hyper fang in one hit, especially with focus energy on. High crit + double crit rate + STAB +being epic = dead enemies, as what raticate does

I mentioned when I caught him that he was kind of a pretty crappy rat. :V

Note to be confused with Caprese's rat, Ace, who is probably in the top 1% of all rattatas.

Actually, stat-wise, our pokemon (with the exception of Q, I think, who was actually decent) have all had pretty terrible stats. T_T
