See, here's the thing GWG; whether you're immune to lava or not is irrelevant, because it would be melting the lead scales,which would be soaking into your skin, thus giving you lead poisoning.

My skin is not a sponge. It doesn't let lead in. I would need to either drink the molten lead, and I am not stupid enough to do that, or else let it in through an orifice or wound, which is improbable without further prompting.

That doesn't even make sense. Whether your skin is spongy or not doesn't matter; it's molten lead, and people have been hitting you in the face continuously anyway. People and animals get lead poisoning just from touching lead. Besides the whole part with the fumes and the breathing and the oh look it's in your system now.

Having touched lead myself, I'm fairly certain that isn't the case. Either that, or my father was negligent by not giving (and himself wearing) gloves. And his warnings about not touching mucous membranes* until washing hands was meaningless.

What I mean is, the armour loss should count as a lost hitpoint, even if it technically would not do damage.

Humans have one too. Most animals do; it can just get overwhelmed at times.

Plus, that's still a mucous membrane.

And I meant with prolonged exposure, GWG. Like if you wore a lead necklace constantly. Though i suppose it depends on the area of skin. In any case, I highly doubt that dragon skin is all that tough below the scales, at least relative to the scales. It has to grow the scales as well, which can let in molten lead. Plus ingrown scales, general scrapes and such that will inevitably occur when you have a lot of sliding metal/other hard substance next to skin.

Yes, but dragons are made to be around noxious fumes. They burn stuff so often that they are exposed to noxious fumes from whatever they are burning very often. Their membranes must be a lot tougher to put up with this constant exposure to noxious fumes.
