The giant crouched and set his friend down gently on the grass, then put his ear to his chest to see if he was still breathing. He was, but he didn't look well.

Jorund stood and took his axe from his back, glaring at the two nearby eyeballs, before turning to Eleonore with a question.

"Important Lady, Colt not well. Can help?"

Cidney grimaced and tried not to think about who he was helping as he bandaged the wounded guard, helping the man back atop his horse.

The words were hard to say, but the man felt they were necessary. Altmorin, though, might be able to tell that Cidney was saying them as much to himself as to the cavalier.
