I'm pretty sure that I warned you all about my cheesy pick-up lines, and I stand by my post.

...

Plus I couldn't resist.

...Someone's gonna have to notice IC at some point, and given that Cidney is the coarsest one in the group smart enough to realize it, it's probably gonna be him.

I just realized that Cidney is the glass cannon of the group, at least until we run into people with Resistance worth anything.

Also, Bandit F is already dead, birdy.

No Mercy.

I'm not a big fan of taking several turns just to get somewhere.

Same. It's not likely I'll be getting there to see action anytime soon. I may try to take the forest path though... I am curious how that will result.

If I counted right, you can get to 5.18 or 7.16 in 4 turns :P

I think using a bit of creative maneuvering, I'll be able to hit that soldier in about 4 turns from a comfortable distance, while still having the ability to use reach. The archer will hopefully ignore me. I know I can kill the soldier with ease, but he might another story.

Three guesses as to who we're waiting on, and the first two don't count. :p

So.

Who thinks that Ward magic is underpowered? Not as much as Druid magic was, since it always works at least, it just might not always be useful, but...I dunno. I feel like the QL should be higher in order for it to fulfill it's function at all(which seems to be hitting a dude, hopefully doubling, to tank his hits better, and if he has buddies with similar weapons, all the better). Maybe it should protect against a wider variety of weapons sooner, instead of just different ones? I dunno. Having it give +2 instead would make it ridiculously powerful, particularly at S, since Holy Guards would simply not die. But at lower levels, it has rather...limited use. Especially in these styles of games where it seems like you're lucky to have 3 different weapons, so you can't really cover everything.

IDEA: what if it was always against either physical or magic, at each rank, but instead of just giving DEF or RES it gave Evasion, Dodge, stops doubling, effective damage, etc.? Or you could give the defensive boost to an ally?

And on a different weapon set: Sidearms seem like the Druid of Swords. There should be a Brave Knife, at least, and I would think some better crit rates. Now, if they could all be used at range, that'd be a different story, since suddenly swords have Javelins now.

And on a different topic, do you guys think Asoth and the cavalier will run ahead of us and get killed before we can come help?

No comment on the other stuff, but the two shall hopefully be fine, especially when O'Connor carries our princess to the front lines to support them.

...

Relatively fine.

Noble Emblem is like Street Fighter.

No one remembers the first one.
