No idea what you're talking about with Liar's Dice, but I'm getting into Discord so sounds fun.
Liar's Dice is a game where each player rolls a collection of dice secretly. Play starts with players bidding on the number of faces (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) that are held by all players combined. A bid consists of a number of ranks, such as 1 3, 2 1s, or 6 3s. Bids with higher faces quantities always beat bids of lower quantities, and bids of higher rank beat bids of equal quantities of lower ranks. When the bidding player decides that the previous bid was too high (or, in the case where you're playing with dead-ons [Which you should always do], exactly correct), and challenges the bid. When a bid is challenged, all players reveal their dice and count the faces of the challenged bid. If the bid was greater than the number of faces, the challenged player loses a die. Otherwise, the challenger loses a die. In the case of a dead-on, the player claiming dead-on must be exactly correct or lose a die, and if the dead-on is correctly called, all other players lose a die. Play continues until only one player with dice remain.
The game is fairly complicated to explain, but very easy to understand. The most important rule to understand is the bidding:
1 1 (The bid that among all dice, there is
at least 1 die with the 1 face showing) is the lowest bid. 1 6 (1 die with the 6 face showing) is lower than 2 1s (2 dice with the 1 face showing). It just builds from there: 1 1 < 1 2 < 1 3 < 1 4 < 1 5 < 1 6 < 2 1 < 2 2, etc.
