I find that the events that happen during a mafia game (such as a pony cult) would be much better than any joke with a punchline.

I'm well aware finding everything is impossible- it's just a matter of prioritizing.  Plus, I'm the kind of person that is willing to do extra searching to find the best possible.

And I hate mudstone.

Top two sites are one with a 13 or 14 Z-level waterfall (but poor river access in 3x3 mode and mudstone)
or a nice one with two waterfalls (1 and 2 Z-level) but is completely aquifered in.  The former is temperate and the latter is warm.
Hallowed cheese.
BLARGH the mudstone! There are other layers for the good of the community! With luck, we may hit the sedimentary layers, then the LOVELY magnetite-and co. layers :D Goodness knows the appraisal bonus of a smoothened, engraved room (even a 3x3 room!) would house kings.

Besides, the mudstone makes good intro-story. No good earth like dirt. :P

Also, temperate! That means we either start in spring with snow about to melt, and/or we have a frozen waterfall (which can easily be fixed by making it 'indoors'~ Which...I'm unsure if just building a roof over works, but as far as I know, yes it does.

We can be creative with the ice. :3

Okay, a competition for all of you mafia players: come up with the best mafia game joke you can.  You get one submission.  Go.
"Night ends in 24 hours."
^Best joke. xD

First off,

Hallowed cheese.
What is this referencing? I tried to figure it out, and can't.

Secondly, I will personally mod mudstone to whatever color you want, and post the raws here so you can easily do it.

Then I'd have to re-gen the world, and I'm almost ready to start.

IN FACT I PUSHED EMBARK AND DF CRASHED, NOT LIKE I HAD SPENT TIME SETTING UP THE STARTING SEVEN JUST RIGHT AND FITTING THEM INTO THE STORY OR ANYTHING *headdesk*

I think the seed is saved after every generated world if you go into the...manual world making option that I really forgot that isn't the 'make my world' option.

Actually, if all it does it change an existing object's color, then you shouldn't have to re-gen.

Ezzpreshun of what? What is origin of ezzpreshun?

I have several copies of the world, at least.  I have the spot picked and the starting seven* picked out

No biggie on the mudstone;  I'm just going to dig under it.  There's... gabbro, I think under it (and visible from the river canyon)   I took the single large waterfall site.

Spoiler: * (click to show/hide)

PPE:  And there's first on the dwarf list.

Well, that only saves the world seed, what he lost was the embark information.
