Nooo! We should dial a completely random gateway that was't in the show! See what species he came up with and put effort into.

I'm good with moving but it posses a security problem right now. We need to find the right world first and seriously increase our weaponry and number of soldiers.

I actually am quite in favour of this. As in - not going anywhere the show has been. Thus I propose a random destination for the same purpose. Or at least one that should be, seeing as my dice choose them;

Scorpio, Hydra, Orion, Sculptor, Cetus, Taurus, Earth

Else, yes - Moving to a safer planet would be good. But it would require intensive scouting. We don't want to regret our choice some months down the line, now do we? On that notion, it is actually quite interesting how many terrestrial worlds are found in the series... Not that I mind thou ;3

I suppose it is due to the fact that terrestial worlds are easy to colonize which is why they hold stargates.

What kind of planet do we want? I'm thinking something harsh, we can survive it no problem and the aliens won't be interested in it which makes it more secure for us.
We don't wanna draw attention.

Pretty sure we can't just post or destinations. I think we'll need to use the dialing system.

Doesn't the last number need to be a repeat of the first? So it should be:

Scorpio, Hydra, Orion, Sculptor, Cetus, Taurus, Scorpio?

I'm considering some standing orders for the children in terms of training. What do the rest of you think of this?

1/3 trained as soldiers.
1/4 scientists.
1/4 engineers.
And the left overs as skilled laborers?

I figure either we're going to stay here and explore which requires a lot of soldiers both to send a force out that can defend itself without the bull crap tv luck that enables 20 enemies all to miss a guy who's standing still.
Plus enough men to left to effectively defend our base.
Or go off world which will be more vulnerable and so require the same.

Then engineers and scientists will be important and we should have a few people we can devote to whatever role they're needed in and it saves us from having to order people into specific trainings each turn.

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.
