Er... yes. Trees would work rather significantly better than signposts... got to remember that.

Travel ahead, staying off any paths and remaining reasonably hidden while keeping the pace.

((Finally been hit with an updating drive again, so expect semi-regular updates.))

You all continue toward the house. It's really a bit more of a... well, a small castle, really. The windows are very fancy, and for some reason, all of them seem slightly green. The roof is peaked like a chapel. The doors are stone and padlocked are wooden and ajar. A glance inside informs you that either Waltom was more unstable than he seemed or that something(s) were rampaging inside, what with the torn wallpaper and overturned, broken furniture.

*Various unintelligible hand signals*

Examine a window from the outside and climb to the roof.

Rhogar, after trying to puzzle out the hand signals, decides to just ignore them and takes up a position pressed against the wall, just beside the door, on the side opposite the hinges. He leaves the chair a few steps away.

He whispers to Perrin before he goes climbing:
Perrin! If you find something inside the house, chase or lure it outside! I'll take it out on the way past!

((Yay!))

Keyleth closed her eyes and focused her mind. She imagined a fly buzzing around the house, and listened through its...ears? Did flies have ears? Maybe a bird instead.

Cast Far Hearing through the open doorway, hunting for sounds that might betray a hidden enemy.

David waits with this hand on his sword.

From the outside, or head in and sneak upstairs? That's kind of ambiguous as is.

You take position next to the doorway.
Cast Far Hearing through the open doorway, hunting for sounds that might betray a hidden enemy.
You hear a lot of clattering sounds, much like bones.

Thought Projection to everyone in range: "There's a bit of commotion in there. Maybe bones, maybe dishes. Can't tell for sure."

((Along the outer walls, sorry.))

Make the sign of the awkward duck, then proceed to climb the building.

Rhogar, hearing the voice in his head telling him about clattering bones, tightens his grip on the sword and gets ready to cut a skeleton's head off (readied action triggered on someone walking through the door).
