Is Paypal/your bank willing to try and help you out? I'd certainly hope so.
That's far too large a chunk of money to just shrug off and take in stride. I hope you're okay.

Well not entirely.

My elder sister mistakenly made off with my card and then went and paid her tuition fee with it. The smaller anomalous charges earlier were her paying for smaller things before she realized she had my card.

She went and wrote a check for the total sum as well as a little extra; but that'll have to wait until I bike over to the nearest bank to deposit it.

I apologize that I made you worry. I'm actually rather surprised.

In any case, there'll be a mini-giveaway once I've drawn up the rules.

Alright, seems there is no actual emergency. Bad Blaze :p
Glad it was only a joke though.

On a side note, if you have a smart phone, many banks are now allowing remote deposits with a Location and a pair of quality images of the check. I deposit checks with my phone all the time through USAA.
