Aura swayed in place as she awaited a response, wondering on the principles of sound and voice. She was nearest to Lycan but anyone else could speak to her--it was very convenient.

"Hey Lycan, if he really wanted the key, would've he have given us how to surrender it way later? Either he's a very bad diplomat or...we really have something up our sleeves and it's an obvious ace. Other than me but uh, not boasting here. I mean, you know any way I can try to sense any magics at hand? We're so close to our goal!"

Kaarina versus Esn3: 140+7-88= 59 Hit Rate. Roll: 7, Critical!
42+2+1-24= 21x3= 63 Damage!

"Finally. Throw the key towards the direction of my army, I will make sure to warp it towards me before it even gets to fall on the ground, do that and I will teleport that bucket of rust to your side."

: ...Very well.

Seraphim took off his right gauntlet, using it as a cannon to launch the key towards Eversor's arbalest.

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

"I'm having REALLY bad feelings from this. It's like something being telegraphed. Slow and predictable but..."bucket of rust"? Really?"

Sena versus El1: 148+10+10-74= 94 Hit Rate. Roll: 54, Hit!
44-28= 16 Damage!
El1 counters! 145-10-83= 52 Hit Rate. Roll: 8, Hit!
42-1-21= 20 Damage!
Sena attacks again! Roll: 79, Hit!
16 Damage!
The moment the key was flung towards the contraption, it vanished mid-air, it was safe to assume it was now on Eversor's grasp.
"Good, good. Glad we could solve this in a civilized way."
The skeleton raised a hand and snapped his fingers, responding to Aura with a very uninterested tone.
"Yes, really. That is what she is."
Moments after the snap, an armored figure unceremoniously was dropped on 9, 35. With a loud CLANK, the figure remained on the ground, clearly they had better days, considering the armor carried no glow, no shine...It was covered in rust and visibly damaged, even the massive crystals connected to the armor weren't showing any signs of life. The twitching and muffled grumbling at least showed that the figure was still alive.

"The trade is done, now it is time to finish this for once and for all, farewell. Prepare for the NEW ERA ahead of us! I will leave the king in charge of these troops, so if he so desires to kill you yet, that is not my fault. After all...I was the one promising to not kill you, I cannot say he shares the same feelings."
The moment those gates opened, odd voices could be heard behind it-And even if Eversor was quick to move in, the consequences were already visible; for the adventurers who were fighting in the desert this was no new sight. Once more the sky darkened and the whole battlefield gained a purple tone, with countless spirits coming out from the ground, completely ignoring their presence and the fight.
Eversor has left the map!

The armored figured twitched and slowly stood up, giving a weak nod in response.
"...Correct. Am I still alive?"
Vandertz went to 5, 35 to brave lance ElS2 before cantoing back.

"I am not quite sure what happened, but when I woke up, my armor was like this. Damaged, drained of its energy resources...And while I am still feeling a bit dizzy, I am feeling a lot better thanks to you."

: Don't worry about it. I believe that druid... Eversor, is the cause of it, as well as the cause of... every problem here, really. He threatened to use you as a key for the Gates if we didn't give him the actual key.

"...I suppose that does explain why I woke up imprisoned. Before all of this happened, I spent a long time examining the Gates and made a few discoveries. Apparently the Gates have defensive methods and another way to get the door to open, but before I could even share this with someone, the air suddenly got heavy and well-I fell asleep."
