Yeah. But I suppose it's less rolling for Praef, and rule zero is in effect.

Then go ahead and complain to who created FE. Because there were enemies with killing weapons with hit rate like 10 or 20 with 30 crit rate. Crit rate doesn't increase accuracy. How is it supposed to crit if you miss? It is just logic dude, even if the crit is higher than the hit rate, that will just mean that if you hit, you will crit, that is the only difference.

I know, but I thought that X% crit means that each hit has X% chance of critting. As in those enemies don't auto crit if they hit.

I'm going to take a break now because this weirded me out more than I expected.

So basically you are making a big deal over this, right. Considering the fact the ones who are going to get
advantage over this are the PCs, I am surprised you are actually complaining about this.

I'm not understanding this argument. Back when we played through Maptools (Mystic Plague), we didn't have the "roll-to-crit" thing. We rolled one die and if the number was equal or lower than the crit rate, it was a crit. If you have a crit rate higher than your hit rate, you still have to hope for a hit.

It may be the case of Mystic Plague players being used to a different rule, but I don't see any reason to be weirded out.

Well, look at it this way: It's not that less accurate attacks will be more critical and accurate ones. It's just that instead of dealing normal damage, not critting does none.

Just the old old players are used to that(The ones who were on Mystic Plague). But I am not going to change the way I roll the die.

Jeez, Mystic Plague was so long ago. I'm used to Haspen's method now, but I'm not complaining about this way of doing it.

To throw my hat in the ring, as a player I don't care if the rolls are condensed or separate. If PS want to condense them so it's one less roll per attack, then I can completely understand that and more power to him.

If people want to get to the houses better move cause if Blade doesn't crit him I will. unless you let us visit houses after battle.
Nanoha moving as fast as she can.
If Sophie dances for Nanoha first (or afterward the first move, whichever), lil miss mage oughta be able to make it with no trouble.

Oh gawds the Maptools sessions.

And I made 'hit first before criting' because that's how most (if not all) FE titles works... *shrug* :P

Also logic appeal of 'how do you murder people with a weapon if you don't hit them?'

Okay, since some people seem to be confused:

Haspen style rolling: Roll. If hit, roll to determine if crit.

Mystic Plague style: Roll. If hit, check roll to see if it was under crit roll. If yes, crit. If hit does not connect, do not consult crit.

Quite sure everyone understood that now, so lets drop the topic and focus back on the game.
