fun guy

Brevibacterium linens.  Mold, not fungi.

That is... interesting? But I never mentioned fungi...

Explaining a joke is never funny.

But it wasn't funny anyway, as the "fun guy = fungi" pun is older than either of us.

The fungi left the party feeling dejected.  There just wasn't mush room there.

Sadly, the head doctor MoonstoneFlower became depressed.  I am not sure if she will be able to recover.

I seem to remember  that the fun guy is starting a revolution...  I really need to back and re-read from the start.

Explaining a joke is never funny.
My line featured numerous instances of wordplay which involved replacing one word or phrase with another that had different meaning but similar appearance. If "fun guy" was consistent with every other instance of replacement, then it would have been written as "fungi". Given that it is inconsistent with every other instance of attempts at humour in the statement, it can be assumed that it was not an attempt at humour, in which case citing it as failed humour would be inappropriate. if the "exact phrasing" bit gets a laugh, would that be "canned laughter"?.

I don't like the idea of making bad cheese puns until the update, but I guess we'll have to abrie to dissabrie.
