I would expect that Plump Helmet Men reproduce via spores; after all don't dwarfs do the same?

Not in the new version.

Now they reproduce by being adjacent to each other, presumably by bumping fists as they walk by in the hallway.

Plump Helmet Men reproduce in the same way as most creatures: from a male encountering a female.  They typically have between 5 and 10 babies per litter.

And yes, the females are still called Plump Helmet Men.  Nobody ever use the phrase 'Plump Helmet Woman'.

What? And I've been letting them be on chains together in the zoo? And soon I'll have to work out a lag-free way to dispose of up to 25 little tykes? Does stuff locked away deep underground in a forbidden area in a cage produce lag?

I'll have to get that drop machine finished.

Some how knew when this gonna happen when you murder those Non playable civ characters in Masterwork elves. now everyone wants blood for armok and crave for murder.
like misty currently in a slaughterhouse, and the two guards from the old home to hunt for her are in a hole with no clue where she is.
Misty being here is illegal and chances are if rig and holt don't find her fast enough the DUKE gonna either assume she been kidnap by a night troll.

the next thing Rig and Holt should do is find a hamlet and rally up a search party for misty and get clues to where she might be then check out the orks.

Sorry about the radio silence, folks.

I did that stupid thing where the update uses a lot of non-sprite images.  Expect an update wednesday-ish?

So long as we know that we will get a comic eventually, I am happy.

Hmm...
Hmmmmm...
It's either me going insane or ES did some weird changes on previous pages while no one was looking.
For instance, the last pic here. I'm pretty sure there was Reg and Holt in the barracks, but now there're just two random militiamen.
Anyone can confirm that?

Perhaps from a while ago, the last edit on that post was from April.

Well, yes, but still, I see no reason why he would do this.

If they were there (which I wouldn't recall), it doesn't make sense to change that single panel a year, at latest, after the characters were introduced.

It was an error.  I'd rehosted the entirity of the comic, so presumably any changes I'd made were reverted.  Thank you for pointing that out, I need to fix it.  Please let me know if you see anything else like that.

Update still in progress -_-
