I wanted them to lose, so we can get another chance at getting Nincada some sweet, sweet EXP.

I may or may not want to get a Shedninja really badly.

Every dwarf, every dwarven man, women, and child, that comes to our forts will die there; it's truly sad when you think about it. And we ask our selves, why? Why do we push forward, knowing this fate, that we are destined for failure? Because, this game grasps the concept of mortality. Some games you can never lose, but we all stop eventually, causing a 'death' to those game's 'worlds'. Dwarf Fortress gives us a definite end, knowing that we will leave that world eventually, and move on to more.

Likers and possible unique viewers may have leveled out a bit. Still drawing 5-15k viewers at a time though, sometimes more. Don't know where the ads pay for (twitch or the creator). Possibly the most successful project ever. It still makes me laugh, ghost outside the machine or not.

3 seconds to catsplosion indeed.

edit: I wonder how many subscribers there actually are? Would you pay $5 for this sort of interactive entertainment? Way out of the loop on this sort of stuff.

Lass Robin down. Poor zyyxxyy, just can't seem to evolve :(

One day, you zexy beast, you :)

I can finally say that the monkeys-on-typewriters form of public consensus/anarchy does work. Horribly, infuriatingly, but it does work in the end. As long as it's not applied to a rogue-like or anything with perma-death (ie: real life). Excessive Use of Internet Memes and the Creation of Trolls seems to still be a factor though. Still, the creator has managed to answer some of the broader criteria of questions to be asked through the experiment.

To be fair, anarchy worked fine for the first half of Red as well. We spent roughly a day crossing The Ledge, with democracy only being brought in after >24 hours of failing to the Team Rocket Hideout spinning arrow maze.

Anarchy works fine in any situation where incorrect inputs can be quickly remedied.

I see no reason that TPP format cannot be applied to a roguelike. Although TPDF is probably too much to hope for, I can see it having some success in Nethack or the like if it automatically gens a new character after each death.

I think all we need is 1 evolution to release the floodgates on other evolutions like in crystal. The trolls are having fun not evolving anyone but if even 1 is let through it's not fun anymore. It's up to Australia probably.

I think this anarchy-only thing is working out well too. It'll be interesting when we come up against something that will take hours to get past and how frustrated we'll get before the calls for democracy become a majority.

I still must question the evolution of the "Start-tards" in the experiment. Whilst overall the experiment does bring up and show the beauty of people working together with vaguely similar wishes and expected outcomes, there is a wall, guns, and if necessary a revolution for some people. But then I must question myself for thinking this........

That someone will waste their time wasting others' is disturbing. Especially upon something that has currently wasted thousands of potential (wo)man-hours of vaguely productive humanity in any case. Although, it has a huge viewership and undoubtedly reasonable advertising revenues, so that is understandable. That the start-tards persist, continuously, is actually rather interesting. What could a "Start-tard's" motivation be? Perhaps one of the many questions to be answered from such an experiment?

Perhaps you hide behind recently created internet memes (TPP "religions") to explain a rather abhorrent facet of yourself?

This is incredible.

Good news is Marill learnt Bubblebeam after one-shotting T's Slugma.

Bad news is she forgot Rollout :V

So upon waking up, I see that everything has gained some levels, we have an Azumarill, and Torchic is almost at Blazkien levels.

Reminds me of a friend I had when younger. He refused to evolve his torchic and wandered around with a very over-leveled lanturn.
