It will succeed.  The place will dwindle down to less than 100, because the rest consider it unwinnable, then the 100 will manage to get through victory road, and when it is announced that they have healed in the center, then everyone will come back with a vengence.  They better save before the announcement, though.  Don't want the server to crash.

Were the pokemon ever healed, or are we going to get there after hours of trying, only to find our only pokemon is a paralyzed 20hp Pidgeot?
