Appearance: A pale, slim-framed man. Has blonde-brown hair that falls around his eyes, which are a dull blue-green. His sharp features are always clean shaven. Wears loose, comfortable deep blue robes that cover his entire body and bunch up around his neck, obscuring the bottom half of his face, and always has his worn, faded green Big Hat perched atop his head. He wears a dozen assorted belts over his robes, wrapped around his chest, for carrying things. He wears dark, long-cuffed leather boots on his feet, a matching glove on his right hand. He tucks his robes into them.
Mark: A bright white stain stretching from the fingertips of his right hand up to his wrist. Its blindingly bright on his fingers and faded the further you go up his arm.
Personality: His general attitude is one of amusement, as if he knows something you don't, and one would quickly note this by his facial expression and tone of voice. He often crosses his arms, adopting this posture often and especially when he is feeling thoughtful. Tugs his hat downward and tugs at his chin when he's thinking, and pushes his hat up when he's feeling cocky or confident, or when he thinks he has something clever to say. Pulls his robes away from his face when he's curious or surprised. Has a tendency to grin or laugh in inappropriate situations.
Catalyst Emotion: Guilt

History
Background: Lived in the city for a time as a scholar and an antique collector. He was well off for himself at such a young age, and ran a successful business out of his home, and in only a few years had developed an impressive collection of rare items, especially books.
Curse: Logan read.. Something.. In one of his books. It was a menacing item with an unclear past, though it was clear by the state of the seller that it was dark, and with little real value to it, though Logan didn't mind of course. The owner was a haggard young man who seemed desperate, like he was running from something. As Logan was prepared to come to the matter of compensation, and just as he said he would accept it, the owner shoved the book into his lap with trembling hands and fled. Logan was surprised but at once please, and, despite it being the midst of the afternoon when he had the most customers he decided to close up and retreated to his room to study the book..
Retreat: Logan doesn't remember leaving, for his memory is blank from the moment he read the cursed book, and it grows even patchier the further back he goes, though he remembers distinctly the sheer hatred with which his former friends had accosted him when he tried to return. A gentle, friendly man was driven mad by the experience after having his conscious damaged so heavily. He turned from all he knew, or thinks he knew, and never looked back..

Unpredictable - The curse has affected Logan's mind in some..interesting..ways.. Has a bonus to using improvised weapons and unconventional techniques.

Suspicious - The curse has skewed Logan's sense of reality, and he's wary of even mundane things should they turn out to be a specter generated by his broken mind. Has a chance to unconsciously sense hidden motives or ambushes.

Physic Arcana - The curse is affecting Logan's flesh where he is touched by the mark. When Logan uses his marked hand to channel his power, he receives a +1 to his focus roll and +.03 to his power roll.

Basically, in that case? She got REALLY mad and overshot, so her power triggered and summoned a bunch of hydrogen in a really compressed form.

This then underwent nuclear fusion.

Literally a second sun.

This is NOT a normal thing for her at level one, but perfectly possible with hydrogen magic

Er, why not? What's wrong with it? How about guilt? That was my original idea.

Fire is too easy. And I wanted to shoot hard-light laser beams at people that would miss and horribly maim everybody, and concentrate microwaves to cook men alive in their armor. :c
