Elizabeth just shifts a bit in her sleep, and then yawns, before drowsily just propping herself up. The Laptop continues having a blank screen.
"Wha… What's going on..? Uh… why are you in my room?"

"You collapsed." Erden said, his voice and face betraying his nervousness. He rose up, placing his palm upon her laptop. "Your computer is cursed. It was doing... Something. I do not know what, but it forced you to sleep."

He shook his head. "I would consider getting rid of it."

Elizabeth yawned, considering this.
"Hmm… Let's see… I fell asleep… And my computer seems cursed? Huh."
She focuses for a moment, and then seems to go blank faced in a way. As in all outward signs of emotion fade from her face, and… A stylized version of her head appears on the screen. It looks kinda cartoony, really.
/"OOoooh, this feels cool!"/ The voice coming from the speakers seems a bit techy, or at least more… electrified.
/"So… Uh.. what do you think?"/

Charlotte flops down onto the sand next to Noam

Noam is lying face-down in the sand, though she doesn't seem to mind.

Elizabeth yawned, considering this.

Technology. The Laschian people had little of it. They didn't need it to survive, so they didn't focus on it. What worked for the last 100 years would work just fine for the next 100. Besides, no one wanted to take the time to give power to a small backwater group of people. It was not feasible and most Laschians were opposed to the prospect.

But now that Erden was confronted with technology, he was bewildered by his own lack of knowledge. "Just... How did you do that?" He said. Confusion was written upon his face. As he traded glances between the laptop screen and Elizabeth's now idle body, he wondered if this was even remotely normal for people. Had technology evolved this much? His headache was returning.

She chuckles a bit, and then disappears from the screen. And then activity returns to her own body. She looks very, very excited.
"So.. what now, huh?"

"You stop. It's not natural." Said Erden, as visual alarm settled on his face. Her calm demeanor was unsettling, especially when she was not waking up earlier. It sent shivers down his spine. "I do not know what happened to you... But it was not normal."

Noam is lying face-down in the sand, though she doesn't seem to mind.

Charlotte looked curiously at Noam and signed something to James so he could translate.

'Can you breathe like that?'

"... HOW ARE YOU BREATHING LIKE THAT?"

'Well Noam can create extra mouths so maybe she could breathe that way'
