No but the second of command for Joker, AKA me, doesn't have the best track record for missions going smoothly either. My first mission had STAN, My second tried to compete for the record for highest permadead count in one mission, and my last mission temp killed me

In all actuality, to my knowledge, it's neither. It should be plain 'Gauss coilgun' without 'cannon' or 'rifle' - the way I understand it, it's effective caliber is different from both; probably somewhere in between. Also, yeah, it used to cost 14 tokens, so definitely not just a gauss rifle, but something with much more punch.
