Ok, so, it might be that we didn't get an action last turn because the turn before we moved 2 hexes and ran into the 'zone of influence' of the braincluster, the mindfuck being its defense (seems fitting?). If so, the cluster should be around. We're at an elevation though right now, so I'm hoping it's one of the 8 hexes around us. It'll be hell to get anything done though if half our peeps keep failing our will rolls.

I know. I tried to use one of the will pills I had installed for just such an occasion, but apparently pw went 'lolnope'.

He might be stalling for time a bit due to M19 not being near yet.

I believe the idea is to send down a shuttle or something as normal, only the planet will be too enraged and distracted by the UWM ship nuking it from orbit to swat anything from the sky.

Oh, looks like they decided to launch a bunch of Kirovs because we started flying.
And those things are not connected to the brain, so they must have some alternate means of sensing us.
Hm.... Wonder if that's what hit me and I just failed my "see stuff" roll. Or just plain didn't see it because I was focused on the ground.
