So you can see that, but you cant see why i need to be able to take independant actions in a quick and efficient manner.

Not inspiring confidence.
It's a joke dawg, no way I'd use "kouhai miyamoto kun" in anything other than jest or slashfics. There's no way we ain't got this. I don't need luck or confidence, I have the "finest" troopers ARM provides at my side. oorah.

"Finest" you say? Im not seeing it.

We got an armored aux specialist who isnt allowed to do as much as scratch his nose without getting electrocuted unless its an explicit order and is therefore refusing to enter combat.
A mindless psychokinetic albino who thinks adding a little extra effort is disobeying an order.
A team leader who is more interested in killing or getting the aux specialist killed than allowing him to contribute to the mission.
A complete newbie, though thats not his fault.
And a regenerating soldier who cant take a hit because the vacuum in the ship will kill him.

Then theres dubley, hes actually being rather competant.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

Actually, now that I think of it, Mesk should really see to upgrading to MCP suit instead of Mk series, if anything. Not that there's MCP-III out yet, but that's more of a shortcoming on our part.

Nah, his MK3 has irises which are actually better for his specific circumstances. He'll just lose a limb instead of ending up dead.
I think the problem is that if he ends up in vacuum (like what would happen for a portion of his skin with the MCP if it got breached) then he will starve himself because the bots will keep trying to keep his skin repaired.

Don't know what the bots would do if there's an iris where the limb should go though... Probably nothing.

A kinetic amp is a much better choice than a kinamp fist. They cost the same and do the exact same thing, but the kinamp fist takes one of your body mod slots.
And Elias can't even use it, since his hands aren't robot.
I didn't know you needed robot hands to use implants. It doesn't say that you do on the wiki, so I assumed that they were usable by default, and that if you wanted to just punch harder, you had to get a kinamp fist.

Note that the kinetic amplifier comes in a glove by default, unless you specify otherwise.

Well, shouldn't it be fine if it's not a too big puncture? I mean, it's the explosive decompression or something that is most lethal with Mk I breach (in ERverse, anyway); and to combat that might be a lost fight. Now, a (small) wound that might or might not even clot itself the regular way, probably can be repaired - unlike the rapidly expanding critical wound in case of Mk series breach without the irises system (though I agree that since those are in place, this argument is moot). Plus there's the whole thing about allowing your regen-bots actually do their job instead of sealing the damaged body parts off, which you rightly pointed to.

Anyway, you just accidentally convinced me that, if field tests go okay, MCP-III has to include the fleshknitter tank. No optionals to "reduce the price" like with MCP-II; it's a premium (or near-premium, if MCP-IV fires off) suit and we're going to offer the best we can. Including ways to successfully seal your wounds when exposed to vacuum.

Okay. I guess I've wasted my money on an implant I won't be able to use any time soon, rather than an equally priced and usable item. That's unfortunate.

Anything you've bought from the armory and not used or damaged in any way can be returned and refunded for full price.

Eh, you're still on ship. We have a very liberal policy with respect to weapons, especially for new characters. We can easily swap that back to a Kin-Amp for you.

On the wiki it says kinetic amos cannot be used to improve edged weapons. Despite this, would it be possible to have two kinetic amps set flush with the sides of a blade, slightly back from the edge, so they shoved the sides of a hole you cut away from you? Sorry if my description doesn't make sense, I'll try to be more specific if you want.
