About mission 19: An optimist would say the laser exploding might have been due to the vessel's atmosphere venting explosively. Unfortunately, in piecewise games, you don't have the luxury to be an optimist. So it's probably an Arbiter of Peace using his grav amp or a bunch of heat seeking hoverballs covered in kinamps.

Yeah, I thought it was just one of the robots having punched through the hull to dislodge the cutter. The ship has no atmosphere to vent. And I really thought the cutter would be better at its work, but half the time I forget to ask piecewise some questions over IRC and half the time he misses them.

I'll start sending walls of text asking about armor penetration due to that.

Edit: Still at work so the absinthe will have to wait until I'm home.

@renegade: You still have some time to think things over. Come up with something good, since that they may begin punching holes in the hull to get you next. Pancaek with an exo stim should be able to disable at least the current situation and get you in without much trouble as long as the next move's correct.

On another note I really like how good PW is at messing with expectations, I mean I liked being all High and mighty about 'yhea Haebi soldiers don't have any definite form that's just a term for parts with aggressive evolutions' but I kept thinking in the way of fungus people for some reason.

Also now that we've got a good baseline for how fast Haebi can adapt (as in they created prehensile tails with spikes filled with perfectly working numbing agents that work near instantly) I can safely say we are all ffffffffffffffarted out into a hostile planet with no hope of survival.
