Well, I can do stuff without the decomps, but without some sort of mental discipline training from the AM that I'm totally gonna request provided I survive, I need it to not overload all over the place.
Also, your token figure is wrong - Xan's required tokens for endgame is actually 60

The Wall of Remembrance is on the first page of the original thread. It lists (almost) all of the characters who've permadied over the course of the game.
