Well, nothing terribly important was said in thread.

You were selected for Mission 18, where you will be trying to investigate and if possible capture the 'Eater of Cold'. The 'Eater of Cold' is related to a meteor, possesses people and causes crops and the population of cities to wither.

If you want any equipment or to ask any questions, you can now post them on the on ship thread, since you've been selected for the mission.

Yup, no weapons. I think armor is rarely available in blackops missions so maybe go for weapons?

Does anyone else get the feeling that M16 isn't going to go nearly as well as the previous blackops mission?  There's an explosives fetishist, thug catgirl, and an amper without a bonus going in, and nobody who has decent skill with a gun...  I can easily see it going very wrong.

Because it's actually a very unexplored artifact. All we really know about it is that there is a button combination that kills the user. That's it.
