From what I've heard over the internet, the titular character is an unstoppable godforce possessing canon plot shields that make all his enemies retarded, he's backed up by the concept of life itself, and his only flaw is that he has to restrain himself from becoming all-powerful and this makes him kinda sad.
That kinda conveys my attitude on trying to attack the Doc.

On a scale of 1 to 10, its probably a 13. I'm thinking the mission 13 team might be better off just leaving and letting Stan take care of everything for us.  Oh, and running might get you out of the perma-kill zone and just into the temp-kill zone of Steve's orbital bombardment. Maybe. Hopefully.

If you remember the manipulator pill incident, Grate gained powers similar to the AM's powers, but none of her control. She probably somehow has gained control over her powers, either through extreme willpower or some weird experiment or incident or something. Or maybe she's not even a real person any more. Maybe she's just a projection, like a hologram, and her real self is elsewhere or doesn't even exist any more. Who knows?

We need Miyamoto and his info. I'm on a roll here. Need details. What type of manip did Grate make into the pill? Need to see if it matches up with the effects. If it was a microwave amp, and I remember that Grate did display temperature control maybe, then it all matches up.

Anyway, grate ate a manipulator battery which was reported to have "some electrical charge/neural activity remaining" and then heard "all the atoms around him screaming to him" among other things, which was similar to the AM's ability to count all the atoms in your body...

EDIT: And if you consider that manipulators are created in part by stabbing something and then growing the thing you stabbed in vats like the ones they use for sods...
