Should a new Quest be generated every time a new embark is built? Tie results in a "no".

Yes - all those "open quests" would make the game more fun
No - Just when a Player's relic lands on one of the six Islands of Questing.

Remember that this isn't just DF2012, but that it uses a specific version of Masterwork mod (There's a direct link in the OP)

PTW.
Also, your 3d6 math in the questing part of the OP is a bit off- divine favor is impossible because 3d6 has a maximum roll of 18 (6+6+6=18)
Thought I'd let you know!

This looks pretty cool.

Divine Favor is only possible if "Double Trouble" (3) is rolled first.  The two quests generated from this are both 3d6+1 (4-19)...  Thanks for the comment anyway.

Captain?

...

I think we might have lost the Captain.
The link to Masterwork Mod 4g is under "game description" - that's what we're using to play this...

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Here we are, a nice spot by the river.

Things are going well so far, we just have a expedition leader with depression. I wonder how that will turn out?

Anyway, not gonna bother with a fort tour. I'm not really doing anything special. I'll just write down if anything interesting happens.

Well, I just broke into the 1st cavern layer(doesn't look like it though, there's glass fungus) which appears in the 2nd) and floor tiles are growing in my fort now
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Its about summer now.

New Migrant wave on the 18th of malachite, 2 men and a dog. One of them is named 'Mr' Ukkob

Autumn has arrived.
More migrants on the 21st of limestone. 2 people named 'miss', one of them is a guy.

20th of Timber, the dwarf caravan has arrived. Pansies brought NO BOOZE, the madmen. I just bought some food.

Winter has arrived and the merchants have left. I better get a move on for basic defences, might get ambushed soon.
I'll stop here for today

Now, that IS interesting!  Not only you have an expedition leader with chronic depression, you also seem to have attracted a transgender dwarf...  I love this mod...

Ok, Spring has arrived and we have a wall and drawbridge.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Just hit the magma sea, didn't realise it was so close to the surface in this world.
However, I wasn't careful during embark and landed on some tiles with no metal.

I'll just have to settle for a military clad in bone and leather.

Our bonecrafter just organized a party, probably in the dining room because thats where all the obsidian tables are.

Migrant arrive 11th of slate, some escaped slaves and a priest are some of the more interesting folk.
Immediately after arrival, one of the migrants goes beserk

On a brighter note, this wave brings us up to 25, meaning that we have qualified for the game to start producing strange moods.

Shame, on the 1st of felsite, the miner that went berserk was struck down by one of our oxen
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Summer has arrived, and everything is well. The berserk miner was buried and we have a small military ready to take out any early ambushes.

2nd of Malachite, more migrants have arrived. We are now at 31.

Some mandrills can out of nowhere and tried to steal some stuff. We now have 3 dead mandrills and 2 caged mandrills.

Autumn has arrived and 'Miss' Othaslos has a fey mood.

I wonder what will be made an who it will be made out of!
Dwarf therapist says its a jeweller's strange mood. Shoot! I don't have any gems, there are no gems on the entire map. The caravan better get here quick! I don't have san either.

The expedition leader just got married.
More migrants have arrived. Come on caravan, get here soon!
Curses!, 'Miss' has gone insane, gotta put here down. She punched someone's dog's head in before we killed her, hope that we stay tantrum free.

Darn, the trees have grown so dense around here the wagons from the caravan can't get through, still have a good selection at least.

Got food and drink from the caravan before winter arrived. Got attacked by a kobold thief but he ran when he was discovered.

Another thief, ran like the last one.

Spring arrived

'Miss' Oskilrud has been taken by a fey mood, carpenter this time.

She begins construction.

BEHOLD THE NEW FACE OF ARMOK

I'll get this binned, retired, and uploaded soon

Ok, sorry it took so long to get the save uploaded, something came up
Also, forgot the artifacts description in my last post.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Oh my, did some research to figure out why to artifact wasn't going into a container.
Well, it looks like an animal trap is a type of furniture and furniture doesn't go into containers.
I looked back on the thread to when we discussed this and didn't see an answer.

I'll just upload the save, unretired, with hope someone can fix it

This is the location of the artifact

Well, we've just run into a problem here - artifact furniture won't offload with adventurers.  So... I'm gonna port this game over to DF2014 and start everything anew.  I'm thinking I'll just set it up as a new post altogether and shut this one down.  For the Shrines (Minor and Major), Temples and Oracles, I'm thinking about requiring a certain number of statues dedicated to a deity in one area, or a specific worth of statues in a room or complex.  Sorry about this hiccup, but when I get it ported over it should be a lot less of a problem to save.
