I'd go with the outside a goblin tower and scout around a bit. besides it woudn't be the first time a Demon has impersonated a goblin leader  :P
Or became one.

I will point out that both of those require us to have power. The first may work with a disguise but the second... would require killing things. We a almost literally a husk.
You really don't think we can work our way up in goblin society? The very fact that we are a demon and that goblins should be afraid of demons is a bit help with that.

Try to listen for any potential sign of life, and the smell of it (or of death, such as blood smell).

If the area appear to be devoid of intelligent/dangerous life, loot it.

You underestimate goblin stupidity.
Given our lack of strength, that would woin our favor once we gave evidence of being demonic in nature.

Yeah but then we look like a husk. Like literately a husk. I think we would be killed and looted before we could gain power.

Of note remember that were suppose to be in a human town.

The GM stated this a while ago. along the lines of "i may have not written enough to show you all but we are in a human town."

Not gonna complain about that. Gives us a good chance to become their leader.

So far there has only been one luck roll, it will probably be uncommon. Cause and effect and all that.

Afterwards, head downstairs and pull the other lever. We must find humans to empower ourselves.

+1, keep eye out for any weapons.

Then you get cities like Paris where you should basically just kill yourself already.

You won’t have to think anymore: it’ll be just like having fun!

Trader of Favors, a Pactbinder.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

??? D20 +?= 4

Keen on caution, you spend a moment to examine your surroundings with what senses are currently useful. Observation D20+2 (no distractions)= 13
You hear nothing, and smell little but must. You do happen to feel a light breeze coming from further up the stairs however, that is promising. Feeling around in the dark you approach and examine the piece of furniture. Search 1d20-4(unable to see)= 0
It seems to be some sort of desk, with various small cupboards and drawers. Sheaves of paper are stacked on the desk, and during your rummaging you knock over a bottle and get some liquid all over them. You rescue them as best you can, and stack them apart from the liquid, but you are sure some damage has been done.

Your irritation is interrupted by an explosion of sound behind you. Whirling around you are gifted with a momentary glimpse of home. A great heat wafts up to meet you, accompanied by the smell of sulfur and an old ally. Before you stands a pactbinder, and the only ally you have any memory of, the demon Vilstak. He has the deep red eyes of a demons sight, and the flickering tale of a demon who appreciates stealth, a skill your master never allowed you to develop. On his face is the insufferable self-satisfied grin only present on the face of a demon who is in the presence of an inferior who was once superior. You suppose his presence must mean that you are no longer being monitored. "Good day *Peon*. I'm here to meet my half of a bargain we made."
His attitude fills you with rage, and you are forced to remind yourself that you *are* inferior to the insufferable low rung Pact-Binder, and that you are more or less at his mercy. He's obligated to give you what you've bargained for, but after that he would be well within his rights to hinder you, or destroy you. Carefully, he lays out your things in a neat pile between the two of you.

The clothes are of mortal make, but made of high quality fabrics of the highest mortal craftsmanship. The set includes cotton trousers, a silk shirt,a leather belt, a broad brimmed hat, a vest with a pair of small inner pockets, and a pair of leather boots. Your sword is of excellent craftsmanship and is clearly the weapon of a noble, though it bears little embellishment, and is only differentiated from any other fine sword by a dark color and nigh inability to dull. The spellbook is bound by iron, and it's pages are enchanted to be invulnerable to fire or additional ink, the contents within you do not remember much of. At the last is the stone of hellstuff, heavier than apparent for it's size, and a little smaller than your fist.

It seems... so little, but it's also a lot more than you just had, though you cannot help but note the absence of your imp, not to mention that Vilstak has not yet provided you with the powers you bargained for.

Clothe Self, and ask when or where the rest of the bargain will be completed, or who will deliver the rest.
Stick sword in belt, stone in pocket, and stuff our bag of rocks into another pocket. Carry spellbook under arm.
