Trader of Favors, a Pactbinder.
Physical traits
Weary and Weak My power has been drained from me entirely, it will take time for my significantly weaker body to adjust to the shock.
Bleary Eyed My demon eyes have been taken from me, the mortal one's left in their place will take time to get used to.
Various Minor Injuries These things take a toll on me for now, but they will fade in time, especially if i can find some source of power to feed on...
Skills
Mercantilism (+5) Without skill in bargaining a pact-binder would be next to useless at his trade. My dealings with folks all over the multiverse give me a strong understanding of basic economics of all sorts.
Power Brokering (+5) I am quite skilled in the subtle magic of transferring and consuming power, and in reaping the maximum Spritual benefit from my dealings with mortals
Clerical Skill (+5) I know how to keep careful records and write contracts without loopholes. I'm also handy at digging through information quickly and effectively.

Keen on caution, you spend a moment to examine your surroundings with what senses are currently useful.
Observation D20+2 (no distractions)= 13
You hear nothing, and smell little but must. You do happen to feel a light breeze coming from further up the stairs however, that is promising. Feeling around in the dark you approach and examine the piece of furniture.

It seems to be some sort of desk, with various small cupboards and drawers. Sheaves of paper are stacked on the desk, and during your rummaging you knock over a bottle and get some liquid all over them. You rescue them as best you can, and stack them apart from the liquid, but you are sure some damage has been done.
Your irritation is interrupted by an explosion of sound behind you. Whirling around you are gifted with a momentary glimpse of home. A great heat wafts up to meet you, accompanied by the smell of sulfur and an old ally. Before you stands a pactbinder, and the only ally you have any memory of, the demon
Vilstak. He has the deep red eyes of a demons sight, and the flickering tale of a demon who appreciates stealth, a skill your master never allowed you to develop. On his face is the insufferable self-satisfied grin only present on the face of a demon who is in the presence of an inferior who was once superior. You suppose his presence must mean that you are no longer being monitored. "
Good day *Peon*. I'm here to meet my half of a bargain we made."
His attitude fills you with rage, and you are forced to remind yourself that you *are* inferior to the insufferable low rung Pact-Binder, and that you are more or less at his mercy. He's obligated to give you what you've bargained for, but after that he would be well within his rights to hinder you, or destroy you. Carefully, he lays out your things in a neat pile between the two of you.
The clothes are of mortal make, but made of high quality fabrics of the highest mortal craftsmanship. The set includes cotton trousers, a silk shirt,a leather belt, a broad brimmed hat, a vest with a pair of small inner pockets, and a pair of leather boots. Your sword is of excellent craftsmanship and is clearly the weapon of a noble, though it bears little embellishment, and is only differentiated from any other fine sword by a dark color and nigh inability to dull. The spellbook is bound by iron, and it's pages are enchanted to be invulnerable to fire or additional ink, the contents within you do not remember much of. At the last is the stone of hellstuff, heavier than apparent for it's size, and a little smaller than your fist.
It seems... so little, but it's also a lot more than you just had, though you cannot help but note the absence of your imp, not to mention that Vilstak has not yet provided you with the powers you bargained for.
