I need to know more: what is the item valued at, how long is the testing period, and, just to clarify, I get handed a random magical device, correct? A device with properties unknown to me. A device that, for all I know, is just as likely to blow a hole in reality as it is to make me divine. I would love to participate, but to be as reckless as my comrades is a pointless and foolhardy venture, but one that does not astonish me in the slightest, knowing them."
