*sigh*
RIGHT

  • Shout Miasma/Necrosis Fogx2 (one sentence, 2x word)
  • Get up, grab mace.
  • If attack still permitted, smack Mako in his punk-ass face with it. Tell him it's a cough cure or something :P

It seems I am cursed to perpetual butterfingers when it comes to holding Mace-based weaponry. Kick that out of my hands again and I'll be forced to resort to clawing your eyes out with my retractable sharp-things. ;D
Good move tho.

((Wow RPGeek, just, wow. TECHNICALLY speaking you got really lucky there!))

Small update:

Nobody got hurt in the 5 man fight. Apparently the RNG likes to give sixes to everybody trying to evade.

If Syvarris doesn't post an action by tomorrow, he will be replaced by Lost in Nowhere.

Lost in Nowhere is encouraged to send me an action by tomorrow, just in case (his character will appear in the Portal Room)

Do a hypothetical action if Syvaris vanishes mysteriously.

I ate all the bad luck

Then choked on it

And died

((Okay, I've skimmed up to this point.  Still kinda lost though, and I know basically no words.  If anyone want to be selfless and help me out, I'd be appreciative, and help you back as much as I am able.))

Can I not be a complete idiot, and swap two points from pool to potency?  It'd be nice to not risk killing myself every spell.

If I can't, overdrive two pool points into potency and say <nice things>.  If I can, just say the words.

((I did notice that a lot of the waitlisters seem eager to play, and honestly I had forgotten about this game.  If they really want, I'm okay with bowing out and letting in someone who wants to play more.))

Turn 082

Kill Derm for real this time, with overdrive dex and aiming center mass.

Don't avenge my father yet.

God damn.

Snack time for real this time.

Quote from: EP
PM

[Systar spd:3-1=2]
[Igor Jr. spd:6-1-1=4]
[Robert spd:2]
[Derm spd:5-3=2]

Igor Jr. strikes back! The spear must belong to him!

[Igor Jr. dex:3]
[Derm dex:3+1+1-2=3]

[Igor Jr. str:2]
[Derm str:4-1=3]

And he manages to catch the tip of it, but Derm slowly pulls it out of Igor's hands, which slowly slide through the shaft, finally letting the weapon go as their hands are near the edge.

Dammit.

Spd tie!

[Systar spd:3+1=4]
[Derm spd:5-2+1=4]
[Robert spd:2]

Yet another spd tie!

[Systar spd:6+1=7]
[Derm spd:6-2+1=5]

Systar rushes to Derm, just before everybody else manages to strike him:

[Systar dex:3+1-1-1=2]
[Derm dex:6+1+1-3-1-1=3]

But Derm backs away, and attempts to cast a spell:

[Derm pot:1+1=2]

He looks at the floor, and the floor glows back in response, but it seems that the glow wasn't intense enough to actually mean anything.

And here comes the dragon!

[Robert dex:4]
[Systar dex:6-1=5]

But Systar somehow manages to move away his arm from the dragon's trajectory.

((Can you die once and for all, gentlemen?))

The Flimsy Wizard, as nobody was actually trying to attack him, moved to the Grand Room, cautiously going over the spilled magma, that is slowly cooling down. There, he found that everything has been already cleaned, with the exception of the floating piece of chitin, that, due to its lack of, well, corporeality, apparently couldn't be sucked by the cleaners. On the other end of the room, three short creatures made of flowing magma were discussing something with themselves (or so it seemed) without paying any attention to the Flimsy Wizard. They finished discussing and looked at the piece of chitin. These creatures were humanoid, but somewhat hunched, and there were tiny magma whiskers coming out of their muzzles. They came pretty close to each other, and looked again at the piece of chitin, and then a golden line appeared in front of them drawing a big and thin rectangle. With a flash of light, it materialized into some silverish material, and begun moving towards the piece of chitin. Oddly enough, it eventually made contact with it, pushing it in the process, but at the same time the chitin begun to recede, becoming thinner, as the silverish material touched it. Eventually, the chitin had banished and the slowly moving wall touched the stone wall of the room and fell to the ground.

The three beings then began to walk towards the Magma Room.

Hmmm, maybe this may be worth investigating?

Mako seems to have devised an alternative to finishing this guy!

[Mako dex:6+1=7]
[Bigf01t dex:4+1-1=4]

[Mako str:3+1=4]
[Bigf01t str:5+1=6]

And Mako manages to put his arms around his fallen foe, but as soon as he tries to lift him, Bigf01 begins to wriggle uncontrollably, much like a fish that has been recently taken out of the water, and slides out of his grasp! Now it is his turn:

Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)
[Mako dex:3+1=4]

A massive purple fog appears between both combatants, catching both of them inside of it. Bigf01t, not really needing to breathe, doesn't give a shit about that, but Mako inhales a lungful of it. This is not going to be good.

But Bigf01t's strategy doesn't end up here, as he tries to reach he morningstar! Naturally, Mako would want to prevent this from happening:

[Bigf01t spd:1-1=0]
[Mako spd:2]

And as soon as he realizes this, Mako just walks to the weapon and stands in front of the morningstar, shaking his head disapprovingly. Bigf01t gets the message.

But then Mako realizes that the fog is messing around with him. Now, he is feeling nauseous.

[Nausea]

((If he is caught vomiting, he will suffer a -1 dexterity penalty to dodging, but just that. Otherwise, the chance to vomit is even less than to cough and get distracted))

Can I not be a complete idiot, and swap two points from pool to potency?  It'd be nice to not risk killing myself every spell.

If I can't, overdrive two pool points into potency and say <nice things>.  If I can, just say the words.

((Yes, there is no problem to change the stat when you haven't actually played yet))

The shade looks around, seeing no one in its close proximity. This means, that it has time to investigate the papers it was given:

[Pot:2+1=3]
Your right arms begins to glow, for a short period of time.

[Pot:5+1=6]
One of the obsidian pillars of the protal starts to glow with intensity.

[Pot:3+1=4]
The piece of wall you have been staring at begins to glow.

[Pot:6+1=7]
Your right foot glows, with a lot of intensity.

[Pot:3+1=4]
Another pillar of the portal, that was the object of a passing thought in your mind about why the nearest one to you glowed previously and not this, is now glowing.

[Pot:1+1=2]
You can feel like if the nothingness itself tried to move, but you can't discenr more information.

The shade slowly grows in knowledge.

While Mako is "occupied" with his human fountain impression:
  • Get up.
  • Walk around Mako and grab my mace.
  • If Mako is still leaking from the face orifice, smack him in the back with my mace, try to ease up his nausea with a few chest-holes.
