Here's a file reading error from around the start (?) of the game.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Incredible work so far. Great music, graphics, and writing.

One point on the game that stands out: you shouldn't be able to run into enemies in already-explored areas.

Moving in explored areas reduces the encounter rate by half. They still can spawn encounters as a way to prevent cheesing certain exploration abilities that are coming in the Post-LD build. >_o

Thanks for the feedback so far! There's a lot of bugs to iron out yet, so pointing those out is great too. :3

Wow- this is really awesome. Excuse me for the stupid question; what do the tally marks (for lack of a better descriptive phrase to use) underneath the character's health mean? I think it's an indicator for stress, but I'm not sure.

Not a stupid question at all!  Yeah, they're a stress indicator.

Okay, after playing for about half an hour, I can tell you that the encounter rate is officially more than a little borked.  That should be relatively easy to fix, though.

Weird thing: I'm not sure flasks/wine are reducing stress for my characters. The effect I've gotten is a little 'ATK ^' icon and some health damage.
Alright, so- I'm fairly sure it doesn't actually hurt my characters, but I'm not seeing any stress reduction and it's screwing with the health indicators a bit.

Though I guess having a party with 2 Priests, a Knight, and a Hunter with a nice crossbow (lucky find!) gives me a bit of an advantage. And of course working on the game. :Y

Sadly, I got stressed to death just before the end, but I collected plenty of screenshots for the LD Post! Also, a tweaked build, with Camp Mechanics and the mentioned bugs (and more besides) getting patched. Someone will post it here once it's done... for now, I need sleep pretty bad.

Here's a bugfix build.
Major bugs fixed:

-- Firewood works again
-- Random encounters were REALLY broken, much too many showed up after the first one.
-- Healing stress healed damage instead (sometimes even over the max HP limit)

Also some other, minor bugs which possibly include spoilers.

EDIT: If you wait 20 minutes before using that link for my shitty connection to upload an updated version, you'll get another few bugs fixed.
EDITEDIT: Done now. Play!

Can't run it, for some reason. I'm beginning to think Solifuge deliberately codes everything he works on to not work for me.
