"I am ready too redirect my opponents energy" "Good let us begin then" A young man about 17 or 18 steps out of the showers wearing a traditional martial arts uniform with red handwraps, he has dark red hair with green eyes and a piercing gaze "Hello I hear you are my opponent, though I am more skilled, you never know who will win, so good luck to you" He reaches out for a handshake

A: Return the favor
B: Slap his hand away
C: Other

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

You shake each others hands "Good too see that my best pupils are getting along!"
you're master exclaims "Now, lets get down to business you can either lose by ring out or by getting knocked out, but if you feel you're life is in danger you can always quit, understood?"  "Yes master!" you both exclaim "Good! Let the fight begin!"

A: Start out with some punches and kicks
B: Wait to see what he does and then counter

Ok, so this is how combat is gonna work, I'm going to roll a 1d6 to determine you're defense and a 1d6 to determine his offense if his offense rolls higher than you're defence, he hits you and the damage is determined by the dice, and I will roll a 1d5 to determine the accuracy, which I will explain later.
But if you're defense is higher than his offense, then I will roll a 1d5 to determine if you hit him or not, if you roll a 1, you fail you're counter and he gets a shot in, if you roll a 2 you fail you're counter but nothing happens, if you roll a 3 you manage to counter but miss, if I roll a 4 you counter delivering half of your 1d6 as damage and finally if you roll a 5 you counter delivering full damage, any questions?

Would countering be different if it had been a different martial art? (Because tai chi is all about redirecting the energy and momentum of your opponent?)

Hmmmm, I had not thought about that... I guess I can give you a +1 to counter accuracy, does that seem fair?
