Hello, and welcome to the DBZ CYOA! This is my first forum game so please do not expect everything to be perfect.

This is a game based of the anime Dragon Ball Z set 5 years before Goku meets Bulma, you are just an average Joe/Jane with a pretty crappy apartment in the residential district of West City.

Congratulations! You've recently quit your job as a secretary to capsule corp for bigger and better things, competing in the world martial arts tournament! You plan on visiting the local dojo to learn some form of martial arts to win the grand prize! 500,000 Zenni! But you're getting ahead of yourself, what's your name, gender and which type of martial arts do you want to learn?

Of course! Your'e name is Dave, today started like any other day except you awoke feeling refreshed, and ready for anything. Probably because you woke up at 11 AM..... Shit, you made an appointment at the Tai Chi dojo for 9:30. Welp looks like you better get there quick! Jumping out of bread you make a quick ham and cheese sandwich and quickly head for the door, the only problem is, you don't have a hovercar! Will you:

You do some stretches and get ready to run, after a while you stand in front of the dojo aptly named West Dojo,what a creative name! you hope that the tai chi is better than the name, you take a deep breath and step inside.
A large muscular man with a goatee and curly hair sits in front of you, apparently meditating, what do you do?

A: "Hey, I heard you were serving Thai Tea here for free?

You go up to him, "Hello! I saw that you were giving away free thai tea?" He stand up quickly looking at you with an expression of pure indifference, every cell of his being is radiating terror and you shrink back into the ground with a feeling of primal fear, he slowly opens his mouth and.... laughs? "Hahahaha! that was a good one, gonna have to remember that one, so I assume you came here to learn tai chi, am I right? Well your late, all of the regular students left, and I'm just doing my meditation and breathing exercises, would you like to join me?"

A: Yes, you would love to!
B: No, your getting the hell outta here!

"Lets start with some breathing exercises, put you're tongue to the roof of you're mouth to make a full energy circuit and inhale and exhale through your'e nose, aim for a long and continuous breath without a pause between the inhale and exhale, I want you to breath like this throughout our meditation, come and sit next to me to begin"
As time goes by you begin to relax, and even enjoy the meditation, you finally feel connected to the universe, the next day, you're new master begins to teach you the fundamentals of tai chi, and you continue with the meditation, on the third day you're master approaches you,
"Dave, i've taught you the basics and I want you to spar with one of my students, his name is Shio and he has been training with me for well over a year, but I think you have a chance of beating him, just stick with you're training and you will be fine. Is there anything you want to do before the fight?"
