Sadly, there is no universal text-based sarcasm protocol. So no, sarcasm is not "usually" ended with /sarcasm. In fact, given the rise of Twitter, something like #Sarcasm might be more common. Kids these days.

That's, um, a lot of work for sarcasm when I could just make it clear through context and occasional indulgences in capslock or a link to a convenient trope (even if it is a bit misused at times).
