"Blood and ashes, this adventure was a mistake."
You get back up and though you know where Thoradin went, you hear no signs of battle or or him in pursuit anymore. As far as you know, its just you and Isbat.
Isbat:Alexander gets back up and you don't hear any sign of combat anywhere nearby. Thoradin must've lost him or is too far away to be heard right now. You only know the direction he went.
Ask Karl what he's planning for us to do. Then follow him.
Karl taps on you and you can barely make the words out of his mouth saying something about "That way" and "option". You hope that the giant here knows where he's going. You both progress into the hallway and it goes down really far. It gets to a point where as you advance, you don't see any light in either direction. It feels like you're not going anywhere. You stop to take a breather after what feels like a good twenty minutes of what looks like the same hallway and you notice the texture on the walls starts to seem no longer soothed out stone or stone bricks anymore, but rough carved out pathways that seem to get lower and lower down the halls. Wherever you're going, it must have been carved out in haste. You progress and then see a set of stairs. However, they seem to be descending, not ascending. However, something off putting seems about this stairway, as the ceiling seems higher then it should be (even if this was carved out in a hurry).
By now, the both of you can hear properly.
With their ears still ringing, Karl makes sure to also gesture as well as he takes the sunrod from his belt and gestures towards the exit tunnel. "Let's go that way. It looks like the only option."

By now, you both can hear normally.
"We should probably get out of here. Maybe the way those shadow creatures came from? Not like there's anywhere else to go..."
Nadarr casts burning hands on the dead bodies, but nothing happens still, oddly enough. He tries scaring them with his faceplate aiding him, but nothing happens again. You think if anything, he's making a fool of himself.
Tell Weston of the shadows. Use Burning Hands on the nearest Goblin, snarling. Using my faceplate, see if I can scare/intimidate them.
(?) You cast burning hands on the goblins, but the bodies, despite catching fire a bit, don't seem to move still. Or respond ill to the flames at all. You try and scaring the bodies but nothing happens either.
