Run until two squares south of Alexander.
Using my Orb of Fire, cast Fire Shroud.

((You can't do that without using both standard and move action))

Jee wilikers, I think Highmax is near invulnerable, must have been dunked in the river styx like achilles was.
Just make sure he wears a boot.

Move six then, and Storm pillar south of M9

You do so!

Mercenary5 attempts to wake up! He fails to do so!

Thoradin foams at the mouth and lets out a blood curdling scream as he raises his axe and swings as hard as he can! (19+6) He hits, dealing (48) damage! The axe cuts from the side of Mercenary9's heart up, and severing it everything that is above from there to his opposite shoulder, off entirely. Blood and entrails fly out and the shocked and lifeless expression of Mercenary9's upper body is there, his left arm still holding onto his halberd. The body stands for a second before collapsing forward and dirtying Alexander's lower body. He uses his minor action to use his dwarven resilience to heal himself for (10)hp. He lets out a blood chilling roar of triumph as he raises his axe in the air!

Cromwell curses Mercenary1 and casts Eldritch Blast! (11+6) He hits, delaing (2+4+4) damage! Mercenary1 dies! Cromwell teleports with his boon behind Karl, opens the door and takes cover behind the door frame! Inside the room, Cromwell sees a chest, a cabinet and a bed.

Alexander is awake and prone under a dwarf! Only mercenary6 is awake still! ((I suggest you second wind and stay down. You are still immobilized by the barricade.. Which everyone else seemed to easily deal with))

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

((I'm kind of glad Thoradin has a 4d12 attack that can decimate everything. If he didn't drop Mercenary9, I'm pretty sure he would be dead on his next turn.

Also, from now on, now that I notice that there are some cases where you can use things as a free action with some gear or some powers, if the option to use said power comes up, and I remember it, I will ask via PM))

((I lost my PDF file, could you send it to me again?))

Second Wind
((Will do. Since the save is an acrobatics check as a minor, I'll do that automatically, alright?))

You use second wind and try to free yourself! (4+3) You fail and are still stuck! You heal for (10)hp!

You hear screaming in the room where the shadow thief locked himself in!

Karl begins his turn! ((Reminder that mercenary6 is still up and not bloodied))

You move through the debris and bring down your blade on the merc after you challenge him! (18+9) You hit, dealing (4+5+4) damage!

Weston begins his turn!

Karl listens as the screams from the thief's room reach a particular level of agony and horror. "Thoradin! Is there any way some of the undead could have gotten up here?"

"Unless undead can dig through ten feet of dirt high, no. There's no way undead should be in there. I meself am wondering what's happening behind that door."

"I thought the plan was to kill them anyway. Do we really care if undead are doing the deed for us?" Weston groused.

Karl grunts as the mercenary batters his shield with the halberd.

"It depends, we need the ring he's wearing and I don't want some of those shadow-undead things crashing out here in a minute."

"The ring.." cough cough "Yes. The ring."

Some manner of unholly energy momentarily flows into Alexander, giving him a booming voice.

"I must have the ring!" he snarls before returning to normal.

"Err,ale anybody?"
