((Alucard is an Anti-Hero, and Anderson is technically a hero, but think of him as your "lawful good" paladin that doesn't care of your intentions, if you're evil or a monster, you're dead to him.

It suits Karl because Aurel just committed a heresy under the raven queen in returning from death, he's a paladin, nad after a few more "good" actions, his alignment MAY change to neutral good (because I house ruled that stuff. Like Nadarr, if he doesn't do evil acts for a bit, will probably turn chaotic neutral)))

Thyra stand paralyzed in fear of the shadow creatures. The fog thickens and the shadow walls form again. Aurel shakes his head in disapproval. Cromwell still keeps his blank stare and Nadarr gets a mouthful of mud.

"Such a pity... I didn't want to have to kill you all... I was hoping you would all get to meet Archuther in his rabid state. It's quite humorous if you ignore how brutally he kills his enemies."

He steps forward and prepares to battle!

((When I get home , I'll post a map and the initiative order. I hope this doesn't end up with a party wipe...))

[Hanzoku]

"Cromwell, get Nadarr out of that pit, whatever you have to do! For the rest of you, fight with everything you have! For the Raven Queen!" Karl roars, beginning to draw his ancestral blade and bringing his shield around off his back. Quietly, he mutters to sword and shield "If there were ever a time to show off what you can do, this is one of them."

((Given Karl has one or possibly two artifacts on him, the possibility of ancient artifact shenanigans is high.I'm hoping that I don't get murdered by Aurel. Thank the gods for that extended rest though, I think we'll need every trick possibly if this is Aurel tuned to 11.

I'm not surprised that Karl is stepping towards neutral good. He's generally a decent person, and I'm not too good at having him be a jerk just to hold his alignment down. He might earn a few demerits on the 'good' scale if we live to get to the necromancers... he's a lot less likely to take prisoners there, and a lot more likely to just kill them all.))

As Karl ends his sentence, Aurel begins to speak in a language no one can comprehend to the others.

Aurel's fiendish grin widens as he laughs. A dark aura that is tainted with crimson surrounds his hands and he does the first attack! The aura lashes out and grabs Cromwell! Cromwell is then pulled next to Aurel who deals (8.) damage! He does another attack after that, driving his dagger into Cromwell, dealing (6) damage! He laughs again as he drops an action point and sinks his teeth deep into Cromwell's neck! He deals (7) damage, bloodying Cromwell and you see he feels rejuvenated as more blood flies out of Cromwell, almost like it was magically given life to come out of the teleport master, dealing (9) damage! Cromwell is now at 1hp! He wipes the eladrin's blood from his lips and laughs.

"I never knew your blood tasted so good, my once ally. I suppose I may keep you alive and have you as my... "Cattle" so to speak...."

His teeth are now splotched red with blood, which he begins to lick off as he grins. The grotesque creatures growl with a voice that is like bellowing but with a thick vibrating sound as a thousand demons scream in joy. They seem to enjoy Cromwell's suffering

Alexander stands in the face of death now. It is his turn.

"Throw yourself into that pool of mud and join me in the shadow of death, Alexander, and I'll spare dear Cromwell here, and all the others will live too."
