Weston stares at the elf.
"So they were arrested. Damn it all. What in the planes happened?"

Nadarr looks frantically for the gems. Everywhere. In brush and briar, thorn and nettle. He feels deep anguish welling inside himself at the loss of his gems, the only things he really, really admired in the world. Inside him is a vacuum.

Nadarr, after his (Almost certainly fruitless search), goes back to the body and calmly takes his clothes off, folding them a good distance from the corpse of the man. He then, coldly, begins to punch and batter the corpse before him, kicking him further into the ground. He puts his entire body into the kicks. And yet he makes no noise, save the odd grunt that escapes almost reluctantly from his mouth. His eyes blaze cold fury. He then cleans any blood from himself, using predestigation on any bits that remain.

He returns to where he dumped his trousers and puts them back on. He doesn't care what story they tell. They could have blood dripping from them for all he cares. He enters the gate, goes to where the warehouse is and searches for corpses. If he finds any, he will search them and see if their pants are any better than his own. If any are, he will put them on. Take one of the corpses and carry it to the hotel room. Again, he doesn't care. Open up the door to my room and toss the corpse in. Nadarr believes it to be a fitting end to his muggers. His pants he could lose. His dignity could resist a bit of pressure. But his gems...they went more than a step too far.

Thinks for a moment and looks expresionless. Charming Gaze on our dear Captain.

"I see your point, Captain. I will pay a 150 gold in fine for my actions and in addition I will owe you a personal favor which you can choose when to call upon and what it'll be. You will not see my face again by the end of the day in this city either. In addition, would you be interested in 36 pairs of socks? And if that doesn't strike your fancy, I think you'll be interested to know that I'm from a very respected bloodline and they would be sad to see their heir go in such a nonchalant way."
(15+12) Five minutes have not passed yet so you cannot use gaze yet.

The captain thinks for a second.

"You vampires and your bloodlines... Make it 200 gold and you never set foot in this place ever again. Keep your damn favor and your socks. We checked your gear and found them; they reek of goblin. We'll take the 200 gold from your coin purse and return your gear to you after you're brought back upstairs. I want you out of my city before high noon... And that leaves you with four hours to do so. Likewise with you..." he points to Cromwell. "... the fine will be taken out of your coin purse. You'll be out within the hour."

He heads upstairs where Karl sees him. He wispers something to the other guards and stands before Karl.

"What do you want of me, Sir Paladin?" He says sternly.

Weston stares at the elf.
"So they were arrested. Damn it all. What in the planes happened?"
"Karl says they were obstructing justice as we chased a werewolf, but Aurel let it out of the town. Cromwell said he should've been arrested instead and the guards did so, but they just took him as well."

(?) You fail to find the gems around the man. You mutilate the man's corpse and put your pants back on. The guards question you, but you ignore them as you enter the town. You head to the docks and enter the abandoned warehouse and see a couple of guards looking about. You steal the pants off of one when they aren't looking and put them on. You manage to take one of the bodies and manage to bring it into the inn with no one saying a word. You toss in the corpse and hear your pet rip the flesh apart and feast. Hatred is burned on your face. Thyra and Weston say you go upstairs with the body, but they say nothing.

Thyra whispers to Weston.

"Where did he get that body?"

"I guess the search for somebody to get those socks continues! Take your gold, captain. I accept your terms."

Get my along with Cromwell and starting making fast time towards the tavern. Nadarr should be back by now.

The guards come down with your gear and other belongings. You re-equip your gear and they escort you out. Karl sees you come up and walk out.

Drag Karl along with me and Cromwell.

"Come along now. We're leaving, Sir Paladin."

Drag Karl along with me and Cromwell.

"Come along now. We're leaving, Sir Paladin."
You grab Karl from his conversation and pull him to the tavern. The captain is confused and then shakes his head with a look of disgust.

You all head back to the tavern. Thyra says everyone but Symon is here and Nadarr is upstairs with a dead body and not happy.

Nadarr marches down the stairs, each step resounding in his ears. His gems are gone. He doesn't even hear the consoling jingle of his coin, just the harsh cadence of mugger money.

He walks past Weston and Thyra, his face motionless as stone. He looks at them as he passes with something akin to freezing indifference. His stride gets longer as he marches to the bar. His faceplate rears on his shoulder, its motions stiff, aggressive, in tune to its master's mood. His eyes, not cold now, burn with a wolfish, predatory look. He goes to the bar-keep.

I want booze. Strong stuff. Good. I do not want to pay more than I have to. The price...He growls low in his throat, and the sound is mixed with his next statement...Will be low. I will raze this inn to the ground if it isn't.

Buy the booze, and proceed to get drunk.

Sees Nadarr very angry and quickly moves in to comfort him.

"Nadarr. You look to be in a terrible mood this morning. How about you get your drink and we get up to your room to talk one on one? Maybe even share a drink?"

(16+9) The inn keeper responds quickly and silently with an old, dusty wine. He puts the bottle on the counter.

"15 gold for Somaberry wine. Strongest stuff I got, and tastes pretty damn good. If you down half of that thing in one go, I'll throw in another bottle free"
