((This is probably the slowest encounter ever  :P))
((The mountains will be nothing compared to the fortress. You're ditching the horses for a few days for sure, maybe even leaving them behind at a stable in a town along the way.))

Jee wilikers, I think Highmax is near invulnerable, must have been dunked in the river styx like achilles was.
Just make sure he wears a boot.

((If they reach the fortress! The situation is rapidly deteriorating already, what with characters cutting themselves and passing the moral event horizon by sucking the blood out of an ally. Frankly, I would be surprised if someone doesn't die here. These caves are maddening and are obviously having a very negative effect on the sanity all who enter them.))

"Try not to kill it, demonslayer! I wish to tame it!"

Standard Action: Excise from Sight on the direbear. If it hits, make me invisible.
Move action (only to be taken if the attack hits): Move to the side, so that the direbear doesn't know where I am.

((Archuther has the only possibility to tame it, and he still has to hit a really stupidly high DC. Rest of you will have to do a crap ton on critting))

(15+5) You miss the bear!

Nadarr begins his turn, followed by Bouchart (after he picks his junk), Karl and lastly, Grot

Run Towards the noise of Archuther. If I get close enough, use Light in front of its eyes to blind it, then turn the light off.

You run towards the cave. You get close, but not yet halfway (24 squares away)

Bouchart begins his turn (after you send me what feat/utility you want)

((Bouchart is backing out guys. In which case; Mastacheese, the great reindeer general has been brought forth!))

Bouchart rides his horse and the horse trips, breaking its legs and Bouchart flies off, landing on his skull and dying from breaking his neck! Mastacheese teleports off of the bear and disappears. An eladrin riding on top of a very tough looking reindeer arrives above the cave entrance! (~15-20ft drop) ((Not the one who gave everyone the finger))

Begin your turn. ((Mastacheese, you have a warhorse that is actually a reindeer, all thanks to Necrothreat))

((Mastahcheese, your addition means that this game has 4 out of 7 of us as Necrothreaters...

Anyway, welcome to the fold! It's good no one recognises you as being the one flipping everyone off at regular stages of the game, because I think that guy has enemies  :P))
