Watch Apiks and Archuther leave

Well, let's get going. They're going to be a while, but let's just leave some oil at each turning. Let us be off!

Jump off the cart, pick up a few stones and jump back on. Tell Grot to go down the underpass route. Watch out for any animals, and if any are seen then throw a rock at it, hoping to kill it for food.

You don't see anything, and grot heads down the underpass with the party, smearing oil as he goes. You follow the path down and follow it and see the hole in the cieling. You press on towards the light and see another crossroads, but one has a smear of oil all over the walls.

"Well, that's great. Have we gone around in a circle?"

Check map.

"Well, that's great. Have we gone around in a circle?"

Check map.
The map only reveals the crossroads, but the writing changes. Both paths on the two way crossroads both say to "To under the hole". You guess who have, indeed, went in a circle.

Go back and go down the middle path.
You head back and find Aurel and Archuther coming back. You can see the hunt was successful, and you all have enough for a half days worth of food (aka rest of today). You all head down the middle path, which seems to wind upwards. You walk about and then see a cave to your right. Looking farther down, the path continues but goes down.

"Me and Nadarr will check the immediate area of the cave. We won't go in very much. I suggest you send Bouchart or Lord Archuther in the meanwhile as a forward scout, but let's be sure that we're all here before night. Darkness prowls it ..."

Cautiously enter the cave and observe for anything hostile inside, going so far in as to not be in sight of the party.

You head into the cave. It's dark, but you can see everything (dark vision and all). Nadarr follows blindly behind you. The cave is rather large, despite it doesn't go too deep and it leads to a dead end where a pile of bones are. All of them are dwarf corpses. No one is inside, but you have a feeling you shouldn't stay too long in here.

Ghost Sound around the corner, out of the sight of the rest of the group. In other words, down the trail and around a corner. Have it scream out pleading words in a female voice, sobbing and begging. Make it sound as if a sword is being drawn.

Everyone can hear it quite clearly. Specifically, Symon and Lord Archuther hear it best ((both are high in perception skill))

You gallop towards the sound. When you head down the path, you see no signs of a woman or a swordsman. You do, however, see signs of very old, dry blood splattered here and there, as well as slash marks into an old tree and another path that splits off. It leads in four directions.

You check the blood splatters (19+6) and notice it to be differnet then your own blood. You assume it to be dwarf blood, as you can smell very faintly, the smell of alcohol... Specifically, dwarven ale.

Symon tries to determine what direction the person who was wounded went off to.
