Attempt to hunt for food. Use Nimue to find small animals (rabbits and the like) and Chaos Bolt them to death.
(crit) lucky you! You find a LOT of rabbits! Nimue scopes them out and you hit quite a few... Or a lot... You hunt and kill 15 rabbits.

Chat with Grot while waiting for the others to get ready.

"So Grot, uh, I was wondering. Could you tell me more about the magnificence of socks and why you are so fond of them?"
Grot shugs. "I dunno. They're just so..." He makes a weird noise that sounds of something that one would make while caressing his or her love as he rubs a xxxsockxxx on his face.

Weston carried the catch back to camp triumphantly.

"These oughta get us through a meal or two! Courtesy of Nimue and yours truly!"

((You still have to gut them/skin them))

"Fetch them over here and I'll prepare them for eating. I would love to have lunch before we depart."

Turns around to Grot, thoughtfully

"And Grot, do you prefer them raw or baked?

Skin, gut and bake them over a fire, and depending on Grot's answer, leave one or two only skinned.

The barbarian probably only eats raw flesh, beast that he is.

((Actually, I'd say he eats cooked. He isn't an animal.))

((He is a goblin, their tastes might be a little different.))

Karl helps out with cooking the rabbits "I think there's more then enough for everybody, with seconds."

Sees Aurel and Karl begin to skin the animals

I propose you do that in the wagon as we travel. We do not want to be in the same place as we were for those shadow creatures...When you are done, we can stop and eat. I think we need speed on our side, and 15 rabbits take a long time to skin.

You attempt to skin them all but ruin all but 5 pelts. Grot prefers his meat cooked; he's not an animal, as he says as he caresses his brand new <<sock>>. The skinning process takes half an hour ((you never skinned a rabbit before? It doesn't take THAT long)) and the cooking about 10 minutes. Everyone has enough food for most of the day. Assuming you pack up and get ready, you all start to make your way towards the mountains, following the path.

Lucky for you, no enemies are seen until lunchtime, where you make it to the mountains. As the dwarven caravan leader said, there are some abandoned wagons, one with a lot of potions, most broken, and the other carries books, odds and ends and clothing. They seem recently abandoned as well, and barely picked through.

Symon looks through the wagons for anything of interest.

Search for traps.
(?) you find no traps. As far as you can tell, you are the first to get here.

Symon looks through the wagons for anything of interest.
There's a few bags of gold as well as some other odds and ends. You find a cloak in there that catches your eye.

Check the potions.
Theres A LOT of potions of healing, but many are broken. You'll have to dig through the broken glass to find a few.

Shards of glass cut you as you dig in! You do manage to pull out a good amount of potions in your dig before you stop to try and bandage yourself. You take (9) damage and gain 7 healing potions.
